How do they work the siren and horn to change the siren do they tap a button on the steering wheel or is every car different

lots of vehicles have it on the horn but some have it on a little button which is on a stick type thing that comes off the steering wheel

The sirens are horn activated, push once for on and to change tone, twice for off. The little stick thing themes valley 999 is on about is a push to talk button for the car airwaves radio

@@jamie12345277 not in all cars, LAS RRV's and some police cars have the little sticks for siren control.

@@jamie12345277 how do they use the bullhorn that i hear sometimes i heard a police car or ambulance use it today when i was at college.

@@thepurdychannel8866 WMP cars in the centre console there is three buttons, one for siren, one for in car push to talk and one for bullhorn so passenger can access it too, horn is also used to change siren and the stick above steering wheel is the incar push to talk primarily used during pursuit comms

Light bar on the 1st insignia is extremely poor.... Only a little light either end.....

I know i said that on a couple of other videos they need better lightbars what brand do they use the top brands are code 3 wheelen and federal signal i think

The lightbar at 1:06 is niceit would be way brighter in real life as the camera cant pick it up properly

Something has gone wrong with the electronics and it's lost its setting, its switched into a mode where only the end modules are on. These bars can be set to numerous different patterns.

@@staffsemergresp No matey, I'm in Yorkshire and not a spotter, I just like watching the compilations. I like the insignia and they are quite rare outside of West Mids, so I always enjoy watching footage of them. South Yorkshire Police had Insignia Vxr's in their Roads Crime Unit fleet for several years, which were always special to see responding.

@@staffsemergresp I'm based in West Yorkshire at the moment, but prior to the reorganization a few years back I was based in South Yorkshire, so would often attend jobs alongside Derbyshire Police and what is now EMAS. I actually used to live in a little town called Swadlincote, so quite familiar with both South and North Derbs.
