We are living in a moment of gender confusion. Both in society and the church, the roles of men and women are distorted by egalitarianism and the social justice movement. In this message, Dr. Josh Buice unpacks the root of gender confusion in the fall and demonstrates how the gospel of Jesus Christ renews and restores the relationships of men and women.
In recent years we have a growing concern about “social justice.” What is meant by that phrase, however, varies widely among those who use and promote it. What is too often missing-even in the calls for “social justice” coming from Christian leaders-is a clear understanding of biblical justice. Justice exists because God is just and righteous. He is the One who defines justice and He has revealed what true justice is in the Bible. For more resources on these topics, you can visit www.founders.org.
This presentation was given by Josh Buice on January 4, 2019 at the Southeast Founders "Do Justice, Love Kindness, Walk Humbly" regional conference in Cape Coral, Florida.

Adam was with her when she was having conversations with the Devil. When she gave him the fruit he never questioned anything but ate it. The command not to eat that fruit was exclusively given to Adam.

Great Message on Complimentalism and Egalitarianism . God is a God of order and structure in creation with divine purposes for his creation to function on planet earth according to the book of Genesis. Denominations Seminaries Pastors Churches Ministries did not set the creative order and structure in place but God our creator did and expects all creation to follow.

We live in a changing world changing ideologies Changing culture Change is is imminent God says in his holy and unadulterated word that He remain God who Changes not. God's Love for all of Humanity does not Change . God's love transends racism and Social breakdowns etc.

Unfortunately in many cases today, Driven by the root of all evil, with abandonment Demetrius still cries out, “Great is Artemis.” Diana’s unconstrained, emotionally charged chants of “hear me roar”, are once again defused by the Masters reply, “Rather blessed are those who hear the Word of God and observe it.” Blinded in their fervor they have lost all fear (respect) of God.....

God has called the church to be a beacon of light in darkness. That light comes through His inerrant and unchanging Word. The church has no business embracing the ideologies of the world!

Leadership is not mentioned or even implied in Gen 2. Also in Gen 3 Adam was with the woman, he didn't turn up later. Calvin was wrong on that point.

Let's face it. We can't blame women for pushing men aside. Men have just as often stepped aside, and created a vacuum, that women have had to fill. Both in the family and in the church. I would have loved to "know my place" next to a husband who lovingly and self-sacrificially leads the family, and guides the kids. A man who knows what he wants, and who loves the Lord, and 'steers the ship' with a steady hand, is so attractive. A man who humbles himself before God, and who 'protects and serves' his wife and children is such an admirable *role* for him to have. I don't think I find any other trait as attractive in a man, as one who really loves the Lord, and His Word, and who is committed to lovingly lead, and provide for his family. The opposite, a marriage with a man who doesn't lead, or take his spiritual responsibility seriously, is like being out in the open sea with a man who refuses to hold the rodder - and you all end up tossed to and fro by the waves, with no steady direction, and no sense of where we are going. It's a whole marriage of storms and waves, and a sense of "we're about to drown". So much of our years of misery could have been avoided, if he had simply "been the man".

I feel that Complementarianism is just a velvet gloved way of saying.."Woman, know your place"........

Oh David, you don't know how hard it has been for me, and many of my sisters, that our husbands have not taken the spiritual responsibility for the family. My husband being lukewarm, and 'hiding behind me' has caused me so much pain and tears through the years. I haven't had anyone to lean on spiritually, but have been left to fend alone, for our marriage, and our kids. And I believe his lukewarmness has played a part in all our three grown kids walking away from the faith. Because they see the inconsistency in his life. He may say that 'Jesus is the most important', but his life says something different. A he has even taught the kids to disregard what I say, as "Mum is so sensitive". I never asked to "wear the pants" as far as spiritual leadership in the home. Nor did I want to be the one taking *all* initiative, while he is passive. In the Bible I see the Bridegroom lovingly win his Bride, and that she responds to His love with trust, confidence and wholeheartedness. When a woman senses that her husband holds back hesitatingly, and waits for her to take initiative and give direction, It creates a sense of insecurity for the wife. This has been SO immensely painful for me. He hardly wants to talk about faith at all, and very selfom does he read the Bible. And he prays only sporadically. "Let's pray a *short* prayer". If my husband had taken his *role* as a Christian husband and father (and in the church) seriously, then it would have given me so much peace, and it would have *set me free* . As it is now, I'm devastated, very lonely, and he's backslidden. "All of this because of the first role reversal" ..... no? All of this because of Humanity's desire to be like God and in so doing came to learn good and evil. Seriously dangerous rhetoric in this one.

But that role reversal was sinning against God. In sin they wanted to become like God. So no, the role reversal was a part of the first sinning.
