Usually, for dropshipping, the product is already on Amazon, so you would have to add the product to the existing listing

A quick question in FBM we have to pack our product and send directly to the customer right? How will we pack the product like the size of the box and what type of box it should be and other specs? Im confused

you can choose how best to pack it and then enter the dimensions of the packaging to get an accurate shipping label

In FBM, is it possible to ship a product (by own hand) to an Amazon Storage, where it then can be sent to the costumer by Amazon. Or will that more likely be a FBA method? This is ment for the costumer to get the order as quick as possible, without getting a high shipping cost.

Good question! For FBM, you will be responsible for shipping the products directly to the buyer. As for the FBA service, Amazon does the product handling and shipping which requires you to send the product to the warehouse. No, there should be no difference in shipping fees! The only difference in fees should be the $39.99 a month for the professional account at the $1/per sale for the individual account.

It is not required if you are fulfilling the products yourself. The items you bought were most probably FBA.

Hi Raju! You'd print the labels and send everything in for internal Amazon use and scanning. Then the pick and pack fee covers the labels and everything generated when a customer purchases the product!

If you are doing FBM, you will be responsible for shipping the products. With regards to the VAT and Customs fees, you can reach out directly to your carrier to verify which fees will be shouldered by you. 😁

QUESTION… before you can create a listing, you need to first get product. Are you able to advise specifically the steps FBM sellers would take to get product? No one seems to go over this specifically. I am very new to this

It depends on your business model, but it is generally the same as when you are selling FBA. The difference happens after the product is shipped out by the manufacturer/supplier. If it's going to be FBA, it will be stored, fulfilled, and will be shipped out by Amazon to your buyers, while with FBM, you will be the one responsible for those.

Good question! This is possible. Although you will still need to select a delivery method in Shipping settings that tells Amazon how the orders will be shipped. You may also need to negotiate or create an agreement with your manufacturer on how the packing and shipping process would work once the order is placed on Amazon.

I think it takes awhile for it to actually be for sale because the same thing happened to me but Amazon told me in 24 hours it will be for sale and 3 mins later it was for sale while other items were already for sale instantly. it’s weird tbh but I would say just wait 24 hrs

You'll need the tracking number from your shipper, you can input that to track it. If your supplier is handling shipping for you then ask for that number so you can confirm it with Amazon and create a shipping plan!

You are able to create different storefronts using the same Seller account. This is preferable to opening a brand new account. If you need a second account we recommend speaking to Seller support first - they can make sure a second account is set up in the right way!

If you using FBM (Fulfilled by Merchant) and sending the products directly to your buyers, you don't need to put an FNSKU

Hiya! Since FBM means you are fulfilling the product, technically, you don't need the GTIN, ASIN or FNSKU printed or labeled, as long as you can manage and ship the inventory. Those are identifiers and scannable numbers/codes for Amazon to manage and fulfill items.

If the item is returned in sellable condition, the buyer will be refunded and the seller will be charged the equivalent amount. You can then re-sell.

With FBA (Fulfillment by Amazon), Amazon handles fulfillment and customer service on behalf of sellers, which includes customer returns processing. Amazon operates by its own customer return policy when determining if the item in question is eligible for a return. As a seller, you have no control over whether a product is accepted as a return, even if it is clearly the buyers’ fault that the product is damaged or defective. Thank you guys for such great guidance. I have a question can you answer me please? I recently starting my business and doing private labeling and I want to do FBM my from is i live in Portugal (EU country) and I want to work on other EU countries like Germany France and other but shopping cost I think customers will not live if I send product from my place so the question is if I manage to place my product in some of those country like with some friends or someone to do the shipping from same country will Amazon accept this?

If you are using FBM, and if you are sure that the packaging does not violate any Amazon guidelines, then it's okay.

Hi tehre, thanks for the video. But still have 1 question. I received a few orders, but no order give me the option "Buy Shipping", what am I missing, I just had to order a label myself at the local post office and add the tracking number. I get the "yellow" buttons, but not the "Buy shipping". I only get the option confirm shipment and upload invoice. Who could help me out"?

Can you please confirm which browser you are using? Per Amazon, the following browsers are supported and are required to print shipping labels successfully through Buy Shipping: Chrome (latest version) Firefox (ESR 38 and above) Internet Explorer 11, latest version Safari (latest, versions 5.1, 6, and 7 as of May 2014) I recommend contacting Seller Central support if you are eligible and can't use the Buy Shipping option.

The 'Buy Now' button doesn't show for my products. It's replaced by 'See all Buying Options'. AND, outside the US, my product shows totally unavailable. Please help :)

You may need to check if your listing has a ByBox and if you own it! When products show as unavailable outside the US, you may not have shipping to other countries!

No. UPC Codes are generally used to identify your products on Amazon's end. So if I am selling high cost larger tools, what options are available to me as a seller to make sure I dont have to take back a used tool that could possibly be damaged after the buyer has used it? I only plan to sell less than 50 items a month at first. so a return of just 3 items or less would negate a large portion of my margin. Also if just one tool is damaged and I am forced to take it back that would negate the whole month. Am I overthinking or in your experience does Amazon actually help the seller in these ragards?

Hello. Thanks for your video and information provided. I have a question. How to measure a parcel correctly to get a more accurate shipping cost? I will package the items in small boxes and then place them in bubble mailers. Do I need to indicate the dimensions of the box or bag (it is larger in size, but there will be empty spaces)? And if I indicate the dimensions incorrectly and buy Amazon delivery, will I then have to pay extra for delivery? Thank you.

Yes, Amazon allows sellers to use their shipping labels to ship their products to customers. When you create a shipment in your Amazon Seller Central account, you can use either Amazon's shipping or your labels. 😊
