This is just AMAZING.

Question for you: Wondering on the higher parts of the wall if you could just build the "log" by setting the outside 2x8 and attaching it to the lip of the previous course, then set the top 2x8 and then the inside 2x8 and secure them together as one log with adhesive and screws? (Kind of like how you built your ridge beam) I love what you've accomplished thus far.

Very nice build! My main question is why use crappy, weathered OSB plywood rather than good quality, exterior grade plywood for the decking? This cabin is something I wish I'd done in my younger years. This is the kind of place that Henry David Thoreau would have loved, as would many people who love nature, stillness, and quiet.

Unless you're in a area without the vermin, spiders, snakes. I strongly suggest the woodpile away from the house. Maybe have a place for a cord to be stored during winter, but its been my experience that wood piles near the home bring problems. Incredible build!

It looks like you have a good place to set up a ram pump to have that streams water at the cabin. Have you thought about that yet? Your doing a great job!
