You have a serious watermelon addiction when you have to eat it while soaking in a hot tub…😂 Enjoy your channel. I’ve gotten some ideas for my own cabin. 👍🏻

It wood be so peaceful setting in the forest in your hot tub and listening to the fire crackle over the coils and the water running from the pipe, doesn't get any better than that
@roncameron74612 күн бұрын
Nice!!! The only thing that would make that setup better would be seeing some deer etc.😊

I don’t understand how water was coming out of the top fitting and not the bottom when you changed out the new fittings

For some reason, notification of your video just showed up today. This is a very doable project for us amateur DYI"ers. My stream is a seasonal stream but I can sure run a waterline or hose up into the "holler". This was a very relaxing watch. Thanks again for sharing with us. Cheers!

The upload on this video gpt a little messed up. I'm guessing that's why. It's definitely a fairly easy project if you have the right fittings 👍

You might want to wait to empty the tub until the water cools back down in order to keep the creek at a more natural temperature. Higher temperatures might interfere with plant and animal health in the creek.

Do you have any additional insulation other than the laminated 2 x 8 and if so how do they hold up in the winter and summer for heat retention
@TheOffGridExperience2 күн бұрын
No other insulation in the walls. Just the three 2x8s. Once it heats up, the walls hold the heat pretty good.

I really like this idea and am surprised at the relative low materials cost. How 'good' is the surface burning process? In other words, what is the longivity of burned surface wood compared to treated wood?
@Nico_915 күн бұрын
I’ve seen so many cool cabins made of logs in every size imaginable but this one is by far my favorite. The attention to detail is very authentic, doors and windows are matching. I love the burnt log look and stone wall. However, I’m definitely not a fan of the choice of toilet. I am wondering how much this cabin cost to build without labor cost?

The sheet steel on the roof is EXACTLY as it should be for a cabin. Shouldnt look shiny and new, it ahold have some surface rust and make the cabin look like it's been there awhile. It's a lil small for me. I mean I'm a sasquatch, but youve made it work for you and thats what counts. And brother you need an EG4 solar minisplit to cool that place down. My parents have a place near Pickwick dam and there's no way I'd make it in later July or any of August without AC. You'll throw rocks at that Amazon fan.... Keep up the great content. We love it.

Love the channel. Found you not too long ago & was hooked from the 1st video I saw. You were still building. This is the 1st I've seen of it completed & I must say I am in love with it! This is my dream. A simple cabin on a forested mountainside. Absolutely beautiful!!! However, I got a bit confused with the size of the cabin. At one point you mentioned it was 12x16. Then when talking about the fan in your bedroom, you said from where the couch is from the fan was about 24 ft. Now I am confused on the actual size of the cabin. But I love the simplicity & functionality of everything. It's not cluttered and even as small as it may be, seems spacious. So much charm. However, I would have had to add a closet to house my clothes & household cleaning things like mop & broom, etc. I could so se myself living this way. You've done a fantastic job! Thanks for sharing with us all!❤
