Hello everyone! After grinding out to level 40 in 3 days, then getting Pre-Raid BIS looking into the new runes and checking everything out for Resto Druid.
We finally made a guide that includes everything that you need to SUCEED in PVP and PVE.
I did forget to mention that you can swap Nourish with Eclipse for some GOOD Damage increase!
Will be coming out with more guides on SOD 2 SOON!

No point in a Restokin hardcasting Starfire. Starsurge will both trigger and Consume Eclipse. You can use NG on a faster Wrath (again the GCD does also shorten so you don't waste it as your video suggests) during Dreamstate or on a shorter heal if needed.

I am having a hard time deciding between going Tailoring and LW right now for the epic crafted helm. Both seem really good and in BIS lists i have seen each about 50/50. I guess it really depends if you want more mp5 or the extra stats. I suppose its close and if I have any interest in going Feral I should just go LW?

If you want to possibly go feral or bear tank later on I would go lw, however mp5 is soo good on Druid’s

HT rank 6 and hT rank 7 if. Also 95% of healing in from is from wg

@@calvinrosario8343 you can whenever the tank takes minimal damage. But it’s not really worth it to jump through hoops since if u wait 6 seconds (the CD of Wild growth) you will actually get mana back.

Spirit if you have the dream state rune

Also do not run nourish like he recommends, run Eclipse so you can crit more often and proc dream state

You want to run in order MP5>Int>Spirit/Healing power. Also yes, run Eclipse.

So as a long time healer, i enjoy having my options. My first was 40 priest and it was just a joke to heal everything. PoM and Pennance carry almost alone and then add in Fiend/Dispersion and your never having mana problems. All heals all day. My 2nd toon is the resto druid. Wow what a difference playing this class. So Im used to the rejuv on everyone with lifebloom also using regrowth here and there. Now im hearing basically many of these bread and butter druid heals are useless. Now again we are supposed to be a healer (yes using our heals omg)....yet our entire gimmick in SoD is spaming wrath just to proc 1 healing spell? And if group is taking damage hit WG? Is that really how druid is played lol. Any druids out there confirm they basically spammed wrath and healing touch all the way thru Scarlet Monestary Dungeons? After a couple stocks runs being OOM all the time i had to put the toon down. Now i understand why i was oom; using spells that blizz clearly need to fix. Great vid explaining this. I just wish we would see something from blizzard making rejuv lifebloom etc viable. Or maybe nerf the crap out of PoM and Pennace for priest. Cause right now pallys and druids only exist for raid. Thats not balanced and a sad state of affairs imo.

Could not agree with u more. Its not even as mana efficient to cast HT. If anyone else in the party has any sort of damage WG is better. They really need to rework a lot of the heals as right now u are doing a LOT of HPS with WG but u talent into DPS as there is nothing better...

It’s definitely decreasing the dps done 100% however as a healer hybrid you are still providing massive amounts of utility for the raid so it’s definitely gonna be a Priest and Druid heals run for sure

@@JamesBuschell I ran the first raid lock out as a 5/0/26 and got about 95 dps on average per boss and about 150-250 hps. I will run the lock out again today, and can update you here

And then you just happen to open warcraftlogs and see gnomeregan healing tab ... 3 druids out of 100 priests. Nourish is absolutely bad mana vs output ratio. Another useless rune, when u put some rejuv to boost it the cost goes to 500 to heal for 700...insanely bad "flash heal" Druid healing spells should all be 30 % less mana , u go oom so fast everything costs 400-500 and meanwhile a priest heals for 5 fkn minutes still on 30 % mana... Yes you do similar HPS , which means nothing. Ppl even go 3 x priest or 2 priest 1 shaman and druid is mainly feral. Resto druid is very bad compared even to mage healer. Your only viability is bcz of a single ability and that is wild growth. Same as balance star surge. Dunno what it is about druids that they are always one trick pony that is OP and everything else is trash in their arsenal :( Just open warcraft logs mate i just want to cry hahaha@@CakeNinjaGaming

Int is your stat prio over hps by far. Bloodrot cloak is a possibility but not needed/worth the effort to get.

I was doing single stacks to top people off. You get half the mana back and the rest basically gets regened. Nourish it turds. Better off with elispse just to get that less pushback on the off chance you get hit. It's all about casting wrath, use only lifebloom to top off, wild growth if two or more are getting low and healing touch as needed with instant procs

That's great for balance druids. But I think you will have so much more Mana if you just wrath for days as offence. Use the instant cast healing touches and lifebloom. Then use wild growth when things fall apart to get everyone back up to decent. People don't have to be complete full to live

Wrath is most of my damage, so I just lean into 100%. Use single stacks life blooms to keep people topped off. One lifebloom coat 120 or so Mana and heals for nearly 4 times that. Which is super efficient for a one sec global.

Idk. If you pay 120 Mana and get four times that in heals. That's the best value spell they have. And if you use wrath only, you will have full Regen and if you do cast ,you will likely be in dream state and reserve about 65% of the mana Regen. Plus life loom is only a sec global.
