Many bus owners are senior citizens. If the door locks you in an egress door would be a great addition to any bus. Our bus has escape windows. We purchased an escape ladder that is safely in the bus at all times. Hopefully we will never need to use it. I especially liked the storage bucket that Mr. Miller used. It was a cleaned 5 gallon bucket of hydraulic fluid used in tractors. We farmed and my dad sold tractors. Thanks again Andrew for a great video.

Most coaches dont have the emergency door, I know most have the kick out windows for escape, but that door is super cool. Just dont lean back while your on the throne huh? Hi!!! Totally love this coach...and the mix of the traditional and modern decor and definitely a nod to traditional without it being oh...tooo traditional or tooo light or dark. Lots of contemporary yet fitting with traditional cabinet look accents. Why I think you did such a good job with yours Andrew is you did yours more modern with a traditional bone in the origin of cabinet shape etc so yours looks way more modern but with a little of the browns to make it not a total white and gray blah to we oldies so it grows on this more old fashioned preference and you have way more ages of buyers when you change....both your floor and this floor are similar!!!! I love the escape and with my dad's weakening legs from knees down the stop of steps on shins...whether we can keep the rendezvous place and pray we can or not. I love learning all the options here. Regardless we are going to have a more cold and flu safe way to get my dad on real vacations he does not have to fix or deal with things at home or on vacation. This whole thing...no matter how fancy one goes..you can get pretty darn nice with something fancier or different than home and do some real glamp trips...this is not the old trailer and tent camping..lol..Grandson totally loves having big bro along to show off the Essex...so fun. I remember reading about those egress exits..wonderful..having had fires and one even now rather close to all sticks and bricks...safe but having to work on some of them...this is wonderful to have a back and front option.

Andrew, chances are if you have to use that egress door it will be because of a fire and you probably won't need to put it back together. Lol . Beautiful coach. That egress door would be a lot easier than trying to skinny out a window. Plus working on the back of the toilet would be easier. Love our 2003 Newmar Dutch Star.

I wish more RVs had easy access egress doors. I would love to see the egress door/window demonstrated on the Tiffins. I know they have one in the window over the bed, but I understand the ladder is rather short.

One of the MANY reasons we bought our Newmar. The egress door was not intended to be “easy”, it was intended to be safer and faster. As many Americans are overweight or have physical issues, this makes climbing out a small window a lot more dangerous especially since you are going out head first and then dropping to the ground6-8 feet. The Egress door is an AWESOME design. It also makes it easy to get your pets out in an emergency as well.

The half bath is a cantilever door. No criticism. I work for a Newmar Dealer.

Let's hope Winnebago adds the rear emergency exit door to there diesel and gas class A RV`s.

The bay where the fuses and washer fluid are kept is a rats nest with all those dangling wires. That is a cheaply assembled coach. I'd hate to see what else lies beneath more panels.
