Great review thank you! I would probably go with the Westman Atelier as it’s EWG score is only a 2. I like the ingredients in it the best out of the other options, personally. I have never tried it out though so fingers crossed that it won’t cause me any problems. I have dry skin and I would preferably like to wear it over an oil and try to thin it down in this way. I hope it will be receptive of this, like my kjaer weis was. Thanks again!

Welcome! I feel like Kjaer Weis is definitely a but thicker and more creamy compared to Westman Atelier. WA feels more like a dry oil imo

I only have the Tom Ford in .05 and love it! I rarely wear foundation and mostly use it as concealer so I’ve had it forever. The only competition it has is the Chanel Beige Clair cream foundation/concealer in the face palette that also has cream blush and highlighter.

it is useful to identify the shades you use especially as so many people are shopping online. Couldn't find any reference to shades.

I do love the Tom Ford, but unfortunately the stick is being discontinued. The majority of shades are no longer available. That’s why I’m looking at reviews for the Westman Atellie so thank you for this video

Thanks so much for doing this video ... lots of good information!! Is the TF stick fragrance free or does it have a scent and fragrance to it? Have you ever tried the cream foundation by Kjaer Weis - if so would love to know your thoughts!

So glad you enjoyed it! The TF stick is fragrance free :) I used to use KW all the time, but to be honest I stopped because they were saying things like they're 'chemical free' which is nonsense and inherently false, and their shade range for their newly launched concealer was abysmal. It looks like they have expanded from their initial launch of the concealer, however their cream foundation still doesn't have truly deep tones. I decided I'd rather put my money elsewhere going forward.

In the TF I've worn both 4.0 and 4.5. KW I wore the shade Paper Thin.

Here I was thinking I was the only one who felt their perioral dermatitis was affected by Westman Atelier Vital Foundation stick! I now only use Tom Ford Traceless Foundation stick as it looks naturally radiant and keeps my skin looking amazing all day with absolutely no irritation.

Coconut oil is definitely a trigger for mine - a face soap that had coconut oil also triggered flares, so I was able to figure out a specific ingredient. Coconut derivatives interestingly though don't seem to give me issues. There are a few other foundations that seem to trigger flares that don't contain coconut oil, but I haven't been able to isolate which ingredient is in those that gives me problems. The less I use on/around it, the better.

I love the TF stick and have repurchased! I actually tried the Huda and it made my perioral dermatitis flare immediately! I returned it. Like the Westman Atelier seems to make me get a few bumps if I've had it on all day, but I can get them to go down overnight. The Huda reaction was pretty severe in comparison unfortunately.

For Tom Ford $88 15 grams $5.86 per gram Westman Atelier $68 9 grams $7.55 per gram… I think depending on your skin type and preference either one is worth the money. The ingredients speak for themselves and I think we all just need to pick our poison lol but honestly I’ve been waiting for a brand like Westman Atelier my whole life. I’ve got severe allergies to 6 metals and that stuff is in everything. I have high hopes for this brand that my skin will be very happy with me for the investment.
