I love this analysis! I think one of the things I routinely neglect in my own compositions is this sense of space and silence, which in turn makes scores feel larger than life without being busy.

Hey Zach, as a beginner composer I love they way you analyze different scores and do mockups of them! Would be really interesting to see some world of warcraft music in one video! (Not the main themes but the other scores?) 🎉🎉🎉

Hey Zach I’m Kevin from Zelda Music Theory. Literally started making videos 3 months ago but growing fast. LOVE this style of video. It was so much fun! Just wanted to give that feedback/encouragement. Also I don’t really compose, I’m more like a theory nerd, but would love to pick your brain on what DAW you use and which tools/things you consider essential. I really just use an iPad and camera/mic with FL Studio mobile and a Scarlett solo. Thanks! Kevin ZMT

Thanks man! Just checked out your channel and looks great, I think you've got some serious growth potential with Zelda theory stuff 🙂 I think what you've got works fine for the kind of content you do! Maybe check out "Classroom Maestro" if you want to play with any visual theory aspects, and/or "MIDIKeys" for a keyboard visualizer. OBS is good for multiple camera angles in realtime as well! I use Logic Pro and a ton of other stuff, but it's all mostly for my client work and an extension of that for KZfaq. I wouldn't recommend the extra gadgets I've got unless you're heading in that direction. Cheers!

winemaker analysis would be awesome, the textures that game works with are so unique and fun than the rest of the series but so fitting of that world. especially the ocean theme!

Man, you make it look so simple, which i guess it really is! Great video as always Zach :) Also, if you have the time, i made a Zelda inspired mashup on my channel and id love to know your thoughts on it/the composition and orchestration. Youre orchestral vids have always been amazing and super helpful. If not, no sweat, just thought id ask :)
