They need to combine this interview with the other one with zimmer, blanchard and gorasson to have a bigger roundtable and longer discussions

As soon as I got home from seeing First Man, I threw on the soundtrack listened to it for hours every day for like a week. Justin Hurwitz is the best.

First Man's Soundtrack really made me feel proud that these kind of powerful scores are being invented in Hollywood!!! Damn that Aca-Dummy didn't even nominate it!!!😕

Roundtables were supposed to be much more than just firing easy questions... anyway, it's always interesting to listen to composers and their approach to the projects.

That’s a lot of pressure when asked to try and do something different when everything has been done before but I think the result can be great pushing one into new territory and towards something more original

THR needs to work on their moderators man..sigh. This guy sucks. Like, forgot how to sit down in a chair "sucks". First Man is my favorite soundtrack of the year. THR sucks!

Kris Bowers came off as pretentious, Shaiman was just genuinely happy to be there.

Yeah - Bowers calling Don Shirley "one of the characters in the movie"???!! Help! Though I did love the way Bowers played Happy Talk.

For some reason or other Kris Bowers was not comfortable in himself. I don't think he meant to come off as being pretentious or whatever - not even when he described Don Shirley as "one of the character" in The Green Book. Please read his body language....

I absolutely don't agree with you. Kris simply does not have the relaxed and natural smile of Marc Shaiman. He simply is young and looks very steady and serious but not pretentious at all.
