Coming back to your composure videos! Man, Thank you so much! Big THANK YOU!!! Let's see if 5.4 has the compositing materials as a default material embedded now.

Wow super complicated! Seems like a UE4 way of doing things. In UE 5.1+ just drop the media plate into the scene, place objects in front of it, and render with your mediaplate as a cryptomatte (object ID) and then your actor on the green screen footage stays on its own EXR layer and objects in front mask out the portions of the green screen footage that are blocked. I've done this with actors in front of a 3D fence with several holes and it worked great.

Hey what about anti aliasing on the exr footage on the media plate etc it's not a clean image of your source material. I've also been doing it the way you mentioned and been having all sorts of the issues with dof when doing shallow dof and ghosting etc etc would be great to chat methods with you

Dude! This helps me tremendously. I want to check and make sure I understand this. I have my whole Virtual Production system setup. UE5, Ursa with a decklink, Vive Mars etc. I create the final composite composite that I want with live footage. With what you showed at the end for rendering the final, shouldn’t I be able to export with everything shown? I keep trying different ways to export and it excludes my footage… I have a hard time believing the system that allows me to combine live camera footage with 3D environments won’t also let export it as one final video haha

Did you find a solution? I’m trying to figure it out too but can’t find anything.

Hi There, Followed the tutorial and got everything working in UE 5.1.1, However when rendering the footage freezes on a single frame. Even tried using the take recorder and record the composure but the recorded sequence shows no composite. Wondering what I am missing here?? Could you help?

For Some reason my sky atmosphere is halfly transparent visible in my foreground layer. Do you know how to fix this

I followed this exact tutorial 3 times and I still get this problem: the foreground object is completely over riding the background and media in the composition. I cannot get a foreground object in my composition! Any help???

Did you see how 5.1 will do an exr file with alpha automatically? Finally it just works without the hassle of setup. My problem is that my footage appears overexposed and can't figure out how to fix it.

Did you find the workaround for the overexposed footage. It looks like you answered that question but it seems to have been deleted. My viewport has completely different colors than my Composure window. I don't know if i have to add some OCIO transforms or something. I have no clue what to do.

@@kickheavy8982 I did, but it was so long ago i can't remember what it was. I know that the youtuber jsfilmz has a couple that show how to adjust light and contrast on alpha BG footage.
