Well guys, we made it all the way to the end of Core 1. For those that don't know this, Module 9 is the last module for Core 1 and from Module 10 to Module 18 is Core 2. The 2 exams for the A+ do tend to cross pollinate so just because your writing the A+ Core 1 exam don't think your going to only get questions out of the Core 1. There will also be questions related to the content in Core 2 in your Core 1 exams. The same applies when you write the Core 2 exam. Both exams contain content from both cores so my advise to anyone looking to write these exams is to FIRST cover BOTH cores before attempting to write the first exam. At least then you won't get caught with your pants down if they throw in topics from another core. To obtain the A+ certification you will need to study for both exams anyway and write both anyway so you might as well do it from the from start. You will now simply just be delaying your first exam slightly but in the end it's the same about of studying you will have to do. It's not more work, your simply delaying your first exam until you cover the core 2 content too. Anyway guys, best of luck to those of you writing your exams. I wish you all the best and like usual, if you need any help on a topic, please drop your questions down below in the comments and I will gladly get back to you with an answer when I'm online :)

Took me a while but I finally made it to module 9. I donno how the heck you make these videos if it feels like information overload at times to me. A+ just simply has way to much content to be consumed so it can be a bit overwhelming at times if your new but I love the way you train this. Really helps people a lot that's new to this. I'm looking forward to Core 2 but at the same time I know it's going to brain wash me haha. Either way I'm sure I'll get it eventually like most things in life.

Can you do a live session so we can talk ask questions and such???

I've never done live sessions yet on the channel but I've noticed there are a lot of people asking for it. Might play around with it sometime and check if people are into it. I do live training online everyday but that's for a private company that pays me to train their clients online for them over Microsoft Teams. I might try the live thing on YT though for my own audience. Curious to see how that goes.

Hey I just found your page and I’m enjoying your videos! I’m in the US, are your videos sufficient for the test in the states?
@BurningIceTech
@BurningIceTech 2 жыл бұрын
Hi, If you talking about the official CompTIA A+ exams to earn the A+ certification, the exam is the same in all countries and also in all states of the US you should be fine there. With regards to other tests of any school, college or university I can't say if it's enough since each institution has their own things they test for :) For the official A+ exams its good enough though

I'm confused by this playlist and another comptia video of yours where networks is module 4, 5, and 6?? is there a difference?
@BurningIceTech
@BurningIceTech Жыл бұрын
Are you talking about other CompTIA A+ course on my channel? You'll see there are two, one is the 1000 series which is the one your watching right now and the other is the 1100 series which is the newer version of A+ They 1000 and 1100 series about 90-95% the same to be honest. CompTIA just went and re-arranged some topics and stretched it out over more modules but in the end it's still the same stuff

I think comptia requires too much information to pass this exam, do you think it is doable ?
@BurningIceTech
@BurningIceTech Жыл бұрын
It's a lot of info but it's also still very doable. The normal CompTIA course is actually just 5 days long. Some places deliver the course over 10 days but most of the time it's actually a 5 day course. I train new people in my day job all the time where they start at the very beginning on Day 1 and then by the end of Day 5 they go write the exams and pass so it's very doable if you put your mind to it
