Can you please tell if we will be provided with the rough paper and pen to note down our answers as it will be difficult to type answers meanwhile

You can ask the invigilator for it. But keep in mind that you will not get extra 10 minutes at the end for transfer of answers as in paper based test. So I advise you to practice on screen directly.

On the computer based questions for listening: do i have to select the blanks to answer of they come automatically selected as the audio plays?

You can use TAB key on keyboard to move on to next blank or you can click using the mouse.

The audio will be played in sequence whether you skip the question or not. It is better to follow the instructions given by the invigilator on the exam day.

Yes you can look at the questions of next part when the recording of 1st has finished.

@@kashifjalil8556 Yes. The format of Computer Based IELTS is same like Paper-Based Test with only difference that you will not get 10 minutes at the end of listening test for the transfer of answers to an answer sheet. In Computer-Based test answers are typed on given spaces as you listen to the recording and submitted at the end of the test. If you feel comfortable with typing then go for Computer-Based IELTS. In my experience people who attempt CD IELTS tend to get higher bands compared to Paper-based IELTS candidates.

You can take notes on the screen if you wish to. Select the text then Right click to take notes or highlight the selected text.

You can expect the audio speed a bit faster. Rest the questions will be of same difficulty.

These were from Cambridge IELTS test bank that comes with the purchase of digital product on their website. Now they have updated the system. You can search for Cambridge One IELTS practice to know more about it. The recent uploads are designed by myself to replicate the actual test experience.

This one is the older version of Cambridge IELTS Testbank that came with the purchase of a digital product from the official website. It's no longer available. You may search for 'Cambridge IELTS One' on google for the latest version they are offering.
