I think they make a good ad read duo. At this point Sona is pretty darn good at keeping Conan's improv smoothly going, makes the ad reads entertaining enough to watch even if I have no interest in the product.

Followed by the second best Taskmaster Babben Larsson and assistant David Sundin. Called Bäst i Test (Best in Test) aka. Taskmaster Sweden. A version who dares to think differently by filming in a TV-studio and with the Taskmaster not sitting on a golden throne. Five new panelists every season and a new guest contestant for every episode, until it started on TV4 Sweden. The new change being that they used a recurring guest contestant for certain multiplayer tasks.

Conan as Taskmaster would be truly legendary. Don't think Gourley would be a great Alex Horne though. Need more dry wit and debased submissiveness. Maybe Andy Richter? ;p

My favorite remote was when he went to Sun Studio in Memphis and recorded a couple of songs, including one he wrote about being a late night talk show host. "I go blah. She goes blah. We go blah, blah, blah, blah, yackety yack!"

As a bit? Sure. Conan is not bullying or trying to offend anyone. This is all fiction, a trick, made for laughs. People tend tp not get this and mix fiction with reality because of the podcast format. However, it doesn't have to be an HBO series to be fiction.

As someone who’s recently been living in their car a few months, and as a result started listening to podcasts, I’d like to share with you why your audio listeners always outnumber your video viewers: energy consumption. I love tv and movies, and initially watched a lot of those while car living. They drain the battery fast. I can listen to podcasts all day and not use the screen at all. Listeners are likely lonelier than viewers. Not just because they’re alone in poverty necessarily, but you’re less likely to watch things alone (in my experience). And if you’re watching video with someone, that means you’re getting 1 view per 2 or more viewers. People listening are likely listening alone with headphones, every listen is unique. How fun. Hope someone reads this. Sorry if it’s long winded. PS: I listened to every episode of this podcast in under 1 month.
