Without this soundtrack I don't think the movie works. Basil made the movie go from a typical dungeons and dragons movie into an opera performed in front of the camera.

I second that! This is the first new recording that sounds better than the original soundtrack. Maestro, your phrasing is impeccable! Utterly chilling, despite, or perhaps in spite of the fact that the beginning part is almost a wholesale rip of Shostakovich's 11th symphony's 2nd movement

Dos de mis peliculas favoritas son Excalibur y Conan el Barbaro, con dos grandes bandas sonoras, y he de decir que la Banda sonora de Conan no tienen nada que envidiar a la de Excalibur.... es simplemente sublime con el coro, no hay banda sonora mejor para esta pelicula. Tremendo

Those lyrics are all over the internet, but they don't fit with the singing. I think they are wrong or at least incomplete. I tried to match it in every way possible, but letting alone a word here and there, the people are singing another lyrics

Great song, great orchestra. Makes you really appreciate them. The violins, the trumpets, makes you appreciate all of the instruments and those who play them. Even the singers. Also, I'd hire that maestro in an instant. Even reading the lyrics, I can't keep up with the song, don't know when they sing what, only some parts. I can't find a video with subs.

Basil poledouris estaría orgulloso de este homenaje,y además arnold schwartzenegger se le pondría los pelos de punta de la emocion¡,no hace mucho arnold tiene pensado hacer la pelicula conan el conquistador,para mi sería el sumum epico si lo hiciera a la manera de los clásicos y la vieja escuela y con las mismas canciones epicas de batalla que lo caracterzan como esta por ejemplo¡
