@Mr. King It can be considered humble if it comes from someone humble (who would usually have a follow-up to re-assure others they are just a fan like everyone else), but in this case, it comes from a know-it-all with outlandish and pompous opinions, which we all love him for. His answers are usually short, and seem to only come out to contradict previous statements in passive aggressive manners instead of agreeable confirmations. "...To the point you used office money to purchase an espresso machine and place it near your office?" "It was a reasonable purchase." He's already trying to argue and be right, lol. He follow ups with arguments instead of just saying "yes, I bought an espresso machine" like someone might do instead of trying and find weaknesses with the argument. 5 questions later Conan is still trying to get a "yes/no" reponse.

@Mr. King C: "What is Intelligencia mean? Is it an Italian word?" "It's an old political party..." C (to Jordan): "Do you know? - you know italian." Jordan: "It's not Italian." C: "Do you know what it means?" Jordan: "I was just told it's an old political party..." And here Jordan could have said, "I know some Italian, but am unfamiliar with that word." Obviously in context, they all know it's a political party, so that is unnecessary information unless thrown back as a jab mixed in with these nothing answers to try and make himself seem knowledgeable and Conan seem incomprehensive.

Of course, this is likely a bigger act than we think (such as when Jordan sneaks his jaw slightly open the 2nd time Conan tries to stuff it with whipped cream). 5:50 Jordan does his role well, like when he interviews George Lucas with a obscure question fired off in a hostile fashion (who cares if Lucas doesn't remember every pixel and detail in his movies, he is only human): kzfaq.info/get/bejne/ncx0eJaWr7adppc.html

They joined the war and sadly, they got hit by a mortar explosion. The OP cried for days and lost the appetite to eat. A week later, OP gathered himself together and vowed to revenge his friends. Trained himself in martial arts and the art of espionage, he took on a new identity. He travelled the stormy seas, in search of his enemies. When he found the masked mastermind, his eyes teared as he lodged the knife onto his enemy's heart. Little did he know that underneath the mask... was his bestfriend.... His heart was torn apart a million times. And so... edited this comment.

Esspecialy you also have to watch out for how long you extract. For example he likes darker coffee roast where you try to have a colder brew temperature and less water because it is really easy to extract everything from darker coffe.

I'm really bummed that I started watching Conan again only when I heard he was leaving his TBS show. He was my favorite in my teens, but after the whole NBC nonsense I kind of stopped watching because of college and I didn't have TBS. A) I will watch anything with Jordan Schlansky. This shit is absolutely hilarious. B) Has anyone else noticed that the different late night hosts have their one thing that they do best? Craig Ferguson is EASILY the best interviewer (sad to see him go). Kimmell is great with just the sheer amount of celebrities he can get. Fallon has some of the craziest games. Letterman is just old school. And Conan has by FAR the best away segments, i.e. segments that take place out of the traditional area of the show. The Clueless Gamer segments are awesome. (I didn't include Seth Meyers because he's still getting his footing)

I pretty much agree 100% with this assessment. Maybe to my taste Ferguson is sometimes a little too crazy (in a calculated way) in his interviews and that Conan can be the best interviewer out of all of them (he has off nights of course). And Letterman - yeah he's old school and to me it just comes across as uninterested and just plain boring. But yeah, I really agree with your analysis.

Conan: best remotes, good interviewer but has tendency to talk over his guests. Fallon: best comedy/musical bits, terrible interviewer. Kimmel: pretty well-rounded, gets good guests via building relationships behind the scenes and sheer hard work. Ferguson: best improviser and most unpredictable. Letterman: washed-up

*Craigs whatever is so lame, I cannot believe he has any fans. He literally talks to a fake robot as his cohost. His jokes are horribly not funny, and I gave him multiple tries because sometimes people have bad days, but ferguson has a bad day every show, his jokes are so immature and the skits are worse than SNL these days.*

Sorry but she only said she doesn't go over 22-23% extraction. That didn't discount what Jordan had said previously at all - that Americans extract too much coffee.

Great Briton exactly! Jordan showed complete restraint and emotional intelligence because he saw she was not getting the point of his argument. American coffee sucks!

Jordan stated his opinion on the difference in taste. Shortly after he criticized their process. She then basically said how it needs to be that process in order to get the results of their flavor.

These outside people that keep straight faces during these shoots are incredible. Unless they've done the shots 50 times in a row to the point where it isn't funny anymore. It sure seems off-the-cuff though.

He's just so much of a bullshitter and it's great! There's this 7 minute video of a scrapped skit with him talking the entire time about Star Wars and he pulled out all he could for 6 minutes where he just drops character. Another video he talks about drinking a protein and vegetable shake in the morning and he has a shame bucket with smores pop tarts.
