3 жыл бұрынKyle and I got out today to pay our respects to those who died in concentration camps during the South African war 1899-1900. It was on this day that Lord Roberts signed the proclamation and implemented the scorched earth policy. Burning of farms and placing woman and children in concentration camps.

Such a dark and bleak period of South African history! But you found not only some military pieces, but some civilian pieces, reminders of the people who were there. The Memorial is lovely, Leon!💖
