One of the musical highlights of my life working on these rehearsals on sound stage outskirts of London for 3 weeks back in 2002. Got to watch these amazing musicians rehearsing every day .. … they were all really nice folks and all egos were parked at the door.

What was Dhani doing appearing with his father's friends on stage at the "Concert For George"? His Keyboard and Backing Vocal on "The Inner Light" was beautiful, but that should have been the extent of his involvement.

I believe Eric Clapton was very annoyed having Dhani up on stage performing with George's friends. Dhani should have solely done "The Inner Light" and sat down with his mother and enjoyed the show. If you view the conclusion of "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" at "The Concert For George", Clapton looks annoyed as Dhani goes over to thank him. Dhani seemed to be an annoying fly buzzing around the stage!

@@raulmacias6146 I totally disagree with you. Eric wanted Dhani up there. He was George's son and had every right to participate in the concert. I've heard nothing of Eric not wanting him up there. Great Video. It was really cool to see Eric get up out of his chair and gets this great smile on his face when they started playing Handle With Care- if you dont think Eric loves rock and roll and listening to other musicians - all you have to do is watch that and you can see he loves it a whole lot ! Interesting that maybe this was shot before Tom Petty got on board as he took on a lot of these songs. Also I would just like to mention what an amazing guitarist Marc Mann is. At the concert when he laid into the solo of the song Something - it was amazing and gives me goosebumps every time I listen to it. Finally I just want to say - I love George!!

Everybody talk about Clapton's guitar playing but damn his singing has always really impressed me. His guitar not as much, quite cliche by the time I got into the game. I understand he might have been first to really milk that minor pentatonic scale for all it was worth. But he rarely goes to sick other notes like say Jeff Beck. I've seen him live before his great unplugged stuff and it bored me to death. Now he mixes it up pretty well because he has such a huge repertoire to choose from.

@@bjr4567 No, they guy I'm talking about has frizzy blonde/grey hair and stands near Tom Petty throughout the concert. In this video you can see him behind Marc Mann. Ah, looked it up, Albert Lee.

Paul was at other rehearsals. Not sure what you mean by your "hanging around with kids" remark.. Maybe you were trying to be funny? If so it didn't work.

On All Things Must Pass there was Starr and Keltner on drums, but there was a third drummer. 😅Anyone know who that was? Hell, they even had Cooper on percussion. 😂

@@CB-xr1eg You are the one who should try. Why wouldnt they record and release this with the most loved musician between all of them? You must be retarded. Of course Paul was present in one or another rehearsal, but not "those" rehearsals, in my exact words; whats wrong with what I said? Did you see him in the video? What do you think that happened? "Lets record all that with Paul McCartney, and then we will cut all his parts off when editing it"? Or do you think that, in "those" rehearsals, Paul simply didnt show up?
