The Royal Mother kinda warned her when she said the Emperor's heart is hard to grasp and understand. and his heart you can least trust.. Ruyi should have took that and ran with it.. Ruyi's heart is so pure and the Emperor kept seeing her as the enemy when she loved him all the way..

After watching Empresses in the Palace i understand something in this scene that I couldn't before. Ruyi telling zhen huan that she sees less as being the emperor's empress but more as her husband's wife. Zhenhuan must've had a flashback of her in her youth days when she was still a concubine to the former emperor and told him that she wants to be more of his wife and him to be her husband that to be his imperial concubine and him her's emperor. No wonder Zhen huan understood ruyi but also tried to warn her but the love being blind in that moment, ruyi couldn't grasp it and suffered big time.

Tbh this already show at episode before, when she still use the name Qing Ying and she hope Zhen Huan can give her a new name. Zhen Huan ask her, "what do u care about the most?". She reply "I wish to have someone that can be whole heart with me". U can see Zhen Huan stunt for a second, this probably reminds her own old self, thats why she gave the new name - Ruyi.

其实啊，这太后对如懿还是疼爱的，毕竟从小看到大的娃，虽然因为膈应那人是她姑母，而施压于如懿，但屡屡在关键时刻搭把手救她。看这番谈话的样子，如懿娇憨的就有点像女儿向母亲详谈心上人了，而太后就像一个母亲在听。太后那番话其实是在提点如懿，可惜这时候的如懿和皇帝在谈恋爱，根本听不懂太后的话。（皇上os:如懿啊，朕也是要面子的，你咋把这番夫妻间的甜言蜜语啊都全向我母后说了，这些私密情话，实在不好和我的母后说呀）

I'd love to see this from the beginning to the end . This jumping around it's hard to understand everything that's going on and it's ashame to I really enjoy looking at this very much.
