Condor Curbtender on Condo Trash

How many ears ago 😂😂. These trucks look absolutely sleek in the city’s scheme. Something about it being nice and shiny on the cab was very nice. Will for sure miss these units when the last ones leave if there even a few left. They were cool things for sure, especially since Curbtenders aren’t as common for California.

Because the standard service time for a City Garbage truck is 10 years.. Most of them wear out too quickly and require to be replaced to keep the fleet up to date. Older vehicles are also more unreliable the older they get and breakdowns or more likely to occur because of the age.

@@CaliforniaCapitalRefuse There’s a difference between the hauler being a City Government Solid Waste Agency and a Private Waste Hauler. Republic has a reputation to run trucks even when they are on their last legs. City’s on the other hand look to keep vehicles looking professional and up to shape and not looking so worn out. That’s a major difference nobody can miss.
