I have uad my Summitt for about a year now, everything has held up well. One thing worth noting, that back pocket is mesh lined, when I get hot, unzipping that pocket helps a lot.

Seems like a good alternative to ridiculously expensive softshell options like Marmot, North Face, or Mountain Hardware. Every time I see one of these, I want one. ;) My experience with Condor stuff has generally been that they are a great deal. I bet this would make a great winter shell for a micro down jacket (speaking of ridiculously expensive gear!). Thanks for the "preview."

Oh, hey, here is one task to pay attention to. The elastic cords ( at the waist and for hood adjustment ). I would like to know how those hold up, but it needs a longer term wearing, like a 6 months to year to notice something. Thank You for this great video.

Hi just got this jkt in coyote today. Couldnt decide whether to get medium or large but went with med in the end as although i layer underneath the large would have been imo too big. Iv got the rothco jkt which is essentially the same BUT the hoid on this rolls into the collar perfectly whereas the rothco one is just too bulky. Also the fleece seems thicker on the condor. Nice review by the way !

The original of this was designed by TAD(Triple Aught Design) which sells for $200.-(online) Condor Jacket can be bought at about $90.- You can buy Chinese version at about $35.- in Ali(express). They all are probably made in China, possibly in the same factory.

Can you recommend a similar tactical softshell jacket but with a more slim fitting thru the arms? All the tactical jackets I've seen pretty much have baggy sleeves.

I love my jacket but the zippers sometimes get a little janky when zipping up but a quick note is that you have figure out the trick to zipping it up but you should buy this jacket

I have the same model from pentagon. Its nice and strechy but when there is a lot of moisture in the atmosphere and cold its really cold inside anybody with the same problem?

Looking to get my shtf loadout for ND/MN area with hot tent. Trying to keep as lite and packable as possible, so far I have a 250 merino base a 700 down and hardshell. Now trying to decide which would be better mid layer for chores, hunting, etc. Fleece or softshell? I'm leaning towards fleece since I already have a hardshell and fleece would be more stealthy for hunting, better wear/tear resistance, warmer and breathable, while being more bulky and heavier. Would a 250 base be warm enough down to 15-20deg with condor softshell? Also looking for others to team with as I'm thus far a solo prepper with plate carrier, coms, NV and thermal, mawl, modlite, etc. Looking for equally serious individuals to team with in eastern ND and western MN.

Just ordered mine. I noticed your wrist cuff rubber velcro is not black and is a solid tab unlike the other summits reviewed on line and even the one on condor outdoor's website. When and where did you get that from?Yours is way better and i will be very dissapointed if i get a different outdated tab on the wrist velcro. If you like this jacket, try the alpha micro fleece jacket from Condor, very comfortable with the right amount of utility. I love mine. I think I need to get a size up on the softshell though. I definitely wear a large in the micro fleece jacket but the softshell seems to be really tight under the arms in the Large. Probably need to go to a XL.

My Condor Summit jacket became unwearable after the first wash.. So I contacted and corresponded with Condor staff for span of over a week and a half through plethora of emails and pictires.. After al that the company blamed the retail vendor for improper storage and told me that refused to warranty their product.. It was clearly a case of manufacturer defect. I would of thought that reputable company like Condor would stand by their their product and take care of their customers. Needless to say, I was quite flabbergasted..
