Coney plays every 2D Mario game in existence (in his opinion) but with the challenge of that if he gets hit, the game itself gets zoomed in. Will he be able to complete this ridiculous challenge?

This video perfectly encapsulates Coney streams, maybe more than any video he’s made before. It’s a fantastic idea that he refused to test pre-stream, it started going poorly, he made new rules/cheated constantly, bargained with chat to cope with him failing his own self imposed challenge even after cheating, and it’s entertaining as hell the whole way through

The fact that Super Mario World is the final game of this challenge is a reference to Coney moving the goal posts, much like the goal tape that moves up and down at the end of each level

Coney: "This will either be a great idea or go horribly wrong", Clueless Overall it was a great stream, Coney failing to beat world 2 in SMW was hilarious, "Time to game" and immediately dies. Even if everyone chat was spamming 4/19/23 it was still a good stream even if it was a bit messy.

I love videos of meticulously strategized challenges that expose aspects of a game that have never been previously considered. I also like when the internet funnyman contrives a untested challenge, swiftly realizes what he has done, and desperately tries to wiggle through someway somehow.

If I had a nickel for every time a steamer fake sneezed to readjust Super Mario World, I'd have 2 nickels. Which isn't a lot but it's weird that it happened twice (Grayfruit's Mario World glitch hunting vid)

What he needs is the ability to move the game capture window around. This idea is a novelty but when coney can't even see where he is, it just makes this a game of memory that he has no chance of winning.

I'll admit I was the one person in chat who mentioned the Mario 3 airship was still on the map. Honestly now I kinda wished I didn't say anything because it probably would've been funnier to see Coney reach the castle & then realize he had to go find the ship, potentially causing him to lose the run. Jokes aside, this is actually a good demonstration of how screen size makes a big impact on how players interact with and feel about a game. Zoomed in screen -> More tense, each obstacle is more of a threat. Micro-game oriented Zoomed out screen -> more chill, everything is less of a challenge. Macro-game oriented

Imo he should reset the challenge when he can't handle the Zooms anymore, or at a game over... Rewarding game overs is mad counterintuitive! Resetting the challenge would solve all the problems with it, but I get that that would make it to tedious for our coney...
