Something I heard in a sermon this weekend: for every idol of the human heart, God gives us an altar to sacrifice it on. For achievement/work, He gives us Sabbath. For control, He gives us submission and worship. For money, He gives us tithing. How encouraging is this?!

Oh man I needed this today! I have been making having our forever home an idol and it has been giving me so much anxiety and depression. I need to focus on the good that I have and just hold onto the hope that it will come. Thank you for sharing

As a single 21yo college girl, I would loveeee a video where you compare and contrast the two seasons of single young 20s and what you learn and mature through in your late 20s and going into early 30s (phases of dating, married, to motherhood). You’re such an anointed and wise older sister in Christ for so many of us!! God bless you and little Judah ❤❤ (As a side note, and my own curiosity! Has anyone ever described you as “soft spoken”? I feel so calm and relaxed when you speak. One good habit I picked up from you that I realised when I first found you was reading scripture slowly. When I hear you doing it, helped me savour and taste each words and let the sentence or words emphasise and sink in where they need to, and doing that myself has helped me immensely. Thank you :))

absolutely loving this new “mommy vlogger” era haha and omg baby boy is ur twin 🤭 also that heart to heart about refusing to let yourself miss your present by choosing idols struck so close to home. i’ve been letting go of a 7 year long desire i’ve had. i somehow know that God still wants that goal for me but He’s calling me to let go of it and let Him do the heavy lifting so to speak. i’ve also been struggling with some past idols like being trendy and being in the loop with pop culture but i know that there’s a process for everything (as you mentioned in the video) and maybe i needed to see how needy of God i still am in this season and how much i need to let go of a lot more than what i had originally thought.

Thanks for sharing this with us! This is a struggle I have wrestled with in the past and it tends to creep in at times. I thank God for his grace and mercy! Unfortunately I didn't realize this until my son was 3 years old BUT God. It's so very important for us to take time for ourselves and most importantly put God first. You are in a season of transition with your precious baby and it goes by fast, but being fluid and being kind to yourself is crucial. Also knowing when to ask for help, is OKAY! Blessings to you and your family

Hi Nicole wow thank you for the message of this video.. I’ve been watching a lot of your videos lately and you literally have impacted my life in a way that you can’t begin to imagine. To God be all the glory. It’s amazing how He uses you and you let Him guide you to show us that we’re not alone in our difficulties, we all go through them. One thing I love that you said about the reading the Bible is not just going through the Bible but letting the Bible get through you. That’s powerful! I’m reading it now even more than ever and having more of a hunger to know Him through it. You’ve inspired me a lot to do so and study it like you do. It’s very beautiful what you do! Kaci, your videos just melt my heart! You have taught me so much about what God wants. Question about the Sabbath…is it Saturday or Sunday? By “rest” are we supposed to do just nothing? I’m trying to learn more and although I pray several times daily plus morning n nighttime, i feel like im not giving God my all. I want to go to church but I feel a little fearful for some reason. Wise decision mama! I haven't had a paycheck in 4 years. I'm home with my babies and I love it! My hubby takes good care of us. We don't have huge amounts of money but enough to live a comfortable life.

I love that vital proteins collagen powder. It's has worked so well on my achy joints for sure. Im 39 so yea that's starting to happen. lol.. also have noticed my skin does look more glowy. I noticed after 2 weeks of consistent every day use. Can't be without it! Just thought I would share in case anyone is curious. Oh and I drink the chocolate one it's delicious. 😊

I kind of feel the same. There is something I want and it would improve me and my husbands life.. and that’s all I seem to think about. I wondered if that was wrong. Me and my wife went through a similar situation where we wanted a child so bad that it became an idol to us and God told us to " lay our issac down" and we just gave in and said if its Gods will it will happen and it was a year or so later God gave us what we wanted but in the time between we had a great peace i pray he gives you the same

Kaci, please don't forget what I said a few months back on one of your videos. If you show your baby too many on here, you're risking your safety. After Coffee and Bible Times, you and Chole J Roy have been tied for second place for my favorite Quiet Time videos.... but don't forget what wrote to you a few months ago. Someone on KZfaq told social services that she was an abusive mother, and social service even came to their house (that was her Goodbye video). I haven't seen Chole on here for 4 or 5 months because she said her family came before her videos (and I LOVED her videos). That all happened because she was showing her baby too much on here. Please, don't let the same thing happen to you

by the way, there was ONE thing I got from this video. I don't know if I can do it cause I'm a whole lot worse than you when it comes to self control. You said that you didn't typically buy dark chocolate peanut butter cups because you didn't have self-control (although dark chocolate, as much as I hate it IS better for you). but I liked that because I've been trying to lose weight now forever, and I can't cause I have no self control

Since you're asking for advice, I assume you're not 100% sure whether it's God's will, or maybe you're just afraid or worried. Set aside time to pray about it if you aren't already, and if you are keep it up and have faith. I just came from a video about dating (the channel is called Sam and Sadie) that advised people to ask God to close or open the door on the relationship. Since prayer is powerful, be prepared for God to actually open the door & reveal His will to you or for Him to close the door if He doesn't want you in the relationship. If He closes the door know that He has something better for you. I'll be praying for you! Good luck!

Economic poverty is one type of poverty, but there is also the spiritually poor, Kaci is using her time and money to help those of us in spiritual need as well. :)
