Motivated for a few months then I lose the confidence for another few months until I listen to these videos then it’s like a whole cycle. I want to be motivated every single day. I know what I need to do but my mind holds me back. Trying to figure out what’s stopping me. I believe consistency is very very important. You sleep for one day and you hold yourself back for months.

Real confidence is not built by reading quotes and repeating slogans in the mirror while forcing your shoulders back and correcting your posture. While a positive and optimistic mindset can get you at the starting line, once you are in the arena and you have to perform, the only source of confidence will be the skill and competence that you possess to successfully execute the task at hand. The truest source of confidence is mastery. The attainment of full control of some domain. Develop your confidence through mastery and the world will open up to you. I’m 42 and I have lived long enough to figure out 1 critical thing , one basic thing that gets overlooked but really sums up why people can’t see the world for what it sometimes is. The most repugnant people seek power most of the time and the people that mean well don’t. From politics all the way down to your kids little league . We have good people with no influence everywhere and the biggest psychopaths making the decisions. They know how to make the good person look bad and Vice versa. We have a tyrant cop 👮‍♀️ taking over our league and I just watch good people know how wrong but afraid to do anything. Nobody likes her but she consumes more power because she knows the game. Get out there and be part of things and don’t be afraid to fail. If you don’t run your life , somebody else will.
