The patrolling patterns have got disrupted, right now, the focus is on how do we get the patrolling issues resolved, Jaishankar said.
In this exclusive interview with Hindustan Times, when asked about the Opposition's allegations that China has been building a model village near Arunachal Pradesh and nibbling away territory in east Ladakh, S Jaishankar said the area where the village is being built was captured by China in the late 1950s, when Nehru was the Prime Minister. Nehru might have done some wrongs.. but its crazy to think that India in 1949, 62, 63 should/can be as assertive as India in 2024. Come on people.. India at time was a totally different India from today in almost everything - it was a newly independent country, was poor after british looted all the wealth, we were weak, internally very unstable..., all political, economic and social institutions at that time were still in early stage of development. India at that time was still in the stage of finding its ground to build foundation. In fact, the world was a different world back in 1950's and 60's. So it is crazy and even stup*d to think that Nehru should have acted strong like Modi is today. So even our respected Jaishankarji is wrong on many occasion blaming Nehru for all the problems of today, including the border issue. Actually Jaishankar knows this fact, but he is a politician now, so he has to speak on party line.. right.

India and China will never fight in future as China is strong and India is also has a statesman like BJP party. Now Russia India and China know each other well and they change their rules and roles appropriately while dealing with each other and west. We have presidents like Modi Xi and Putin not like Sunak Biden and Macron who will be replaced in every 4 or 5 years. Hence foreign policy of China Russia and India will be stable. In next 6 months UK and US governments will change. That will help India to become closer to US. What China was following all these years of neutral policy India will start following. China and Russia know India is culturally a patriarchal society and match Russia and China. Also India is democracy so it will match US. So India 🇮🇳 will act neutral and benefit from both blocks. But it will not antagonise any block. Modi is pragmatic as he doesn’t have absolute power like Xi and Putin. Modi is from RSS , whereas Putin and Xi are from KGB and military background. So next 50 years India will slowly grow to become No1 diplomatic country Ecology Economy Diplomacy These 3 will be given high priority. India 🇮🇳 will be sought after by all countries for resolving disputes. This will be a new line of work for India’s diplomats.

The Chinese responded and the rest is history. The starting fact is that China and India does not share a border. It is called the "LAC". That’s not true. It is CoK just like PoK. This whole business of taking back the land occupied legally occupied by China, courtesy Cong, is a risky business and has to be managed diligently. Present govt is managing it much better than any other previous govt. by making sure China does not barge in further. In general, it is much raspier said than done.

It was reported the chinese quickly evacuated injured chinese soldiers by helicopters. But on the indian side , the injured were waiting long time before evacuated by difficult land route to Leh
