I’m a 76 year old British woman, I love Bernie. He’s a light in the darkness, where are his colleagues? The Left in America, like the left here, seemingly silent whilst a genocide is happening before our very eyes. Bottom line, in the main left wing politicians are just establishment figures, furthering their own personal ambitions, and chasing the pound/dollar. I have faith in the young though. They do though need to keep the faith throughout life, like Bernie, and not lose their moral compasses.

Senator Sanders, I don’t know if you’ll see this, probably not, but I am a 17 year old student from Malaysia and I just wanted to say you have always been a good and wise man who has put people above politics at all times and I have been a fan for a long time. But you are now by far and without a doubt one of the few members of Congress left with any decency, a basic sense of humanity, and a heart. Thank you for still being human. To anyone else reading, I grew up learning about America and how your nation has fought for freedom and justice before, while tragically at other times stifling the liberty of entire peoples when convenient. But the potential of the United States to be a force for real good is not yet lost, and many times great Americans have pushed their nation to live up to its founding principles. Thanks to people like you and the wonderful human beings who support you and share our ideals, there is still so much hope. I may be from the other side of the planet, but I know we both want the same thing for our common world: peace, respect and kindness between all our fellow peoples, and freedom from suffering and hate. I write this if only to tell anyone reading that you have friends around the world.
