Genocide Joe, "We didn't give Israel the 2,000-pound bombs because they kill a lot of civilians." How dare you ask us to vote for the continued slaughter. And you better look into the laws on removing political opinions on a public page.

I agree. I do think this is somewhat relative. We raise wages, great. Then prices increase, we raise wages, prices increase. How do we shift this paradigm? Every sector has taken more, as a percentage, of a workers income. There is almost zero discretionary income left for the majority of wage earners today. Forget about things like saving for your children’s future, retirement, or a nice family vacation. This ‘service economy’ we have created over the past 40 years now can’t even do that respectfully. Something has got to change.

Interesting comments. It was Bernie supporters staying home because they didn't get their way in 2016 that gave us Trump. All you did was set yourselves back. The want for power without earning it is exactly what the minority MAGA Republicans are doing right now. Who knew you had so much in common? An Independent who knows where the blame for Trump coming to power lies.

I know this was the problem I faced, 18 years old, no choice but to earn my own way entirely, and the jobs in my area, paying all of a fifth if a living wage. Having five full time jobs to break even isnt an option... I just did criminal things because it was that or be homeless, which feels like giving up and dying in practice, i would have done most anything to stay above water. I set up shoplifting networks that bankrupted entire local chains, all because there wasnt any other reasonable path to simple survival laid out for me... me, willing to work, all my waking hours. From that position, i felt like being as destructive as possible was entirely warranted and a good thing, people who havent been there, cant know. Our moral failure to never have caught up with the rest of the world in recognizing the right of our own people to exist is why we are failing, we judge ourselves as undeserving of existence itself And when the Trumps and their ilk comes out just pretending that fantasy is reality and up is down and good is bad, i think that only stirs up our self-destructive impulse even more. Evil people pretending evil is good, tying our national image to evil itself. Fastest way to make the actual smart, dynamic folks eithin and without, see our destruction as the thing thats best for mankind We've long lost to badness and corruption, the question now is, will we ever become good, become worthy of saving ourselves, or will we just be destroyed and disappear into nothing

A disaster how? For whom? Our country is knee deep in disasters. Open borders, high food prices, high crime in democratic controlled cities. The people don't have security, that you and the rest of the government are supposed to provide. So go back and sit on your front porch.

15 an hour is not a living wage for one person, 20 barely cuts it if you are lucky enough to get it, that is without dependents. . No savings, no vacations. Nurses with good salaries can't afford to live in the cities they work in. A map was made of the US of cities where 15 an hour pays for a 2 bedroom apartment with other life expenses. There were NONE. You have to make more than 300,000 or more a year to afford the cheapest digs in Aspen Colorado. So companies there can't even get the top people they need.

i am officially suing the United States government for removing freedom from the people of the United States... the penalty for treason is death.... -->> freedom (n.) Old English freodom "power of self-determination, state of free will; emancipation from slavery, deliverance;" see free (adj.) + -dom. Meaning "exemption from arbitrary or despotic control, civil liberty" is from late 14c. Meaning "possession of particular privileges" is from 1570s. Similar formation in Old Frisian fridom, Dutch vrijdom, Middle Low German vridom. -->> soul (n.1) "A substantial entity believed to be that in each person which lives, feels, thinks, and wills" [Century Dictionary], Middle English soule, from Old English sawol "spiritual and emotional part of a person, animate existence; life, living being," from Proto-Germanic *saiwalō (source also of Old Saxon seola, Old Norse sala, Old Frisian sele, Middle Dutch siele, Dutch ziel, Old High German seula, German Seele, Gothic saiwala), a word of uncertain origin. It has been suspected to have meant originally "coming from or belonging to the sea," the supposed stopping place of the soul before birth or after death [Barnhart]; if so, it would be from Proto-Germanic *saiwaz (see sea). Klein explains this as "from the lake," as a dwelling-place of souls in ancient northern Europe.

Well if your so worried about inequality and homeless, the why dont you allow the homeless people talk shelter in two of your three houses or better yet sell two of your houses and donate to those you deem inequality. And donate the money your making off your book about how capitalism is bad and the rich should be taxes. Someone who owns three houses, should go about crying inequality in America

Even Medicare is falling apart. A prescription that has cost a co-pay of $125 a month for years just went up to $1000 a month, because Medicare no longer covers it. I just need it to breathe, so no big deal, right? 🙄
