Such a classy opponent. With the way Ramirez boxed in the first rd., he would have stopped a lot of people. But Michael stood up to him being as courageous as ever, and upped the pace in the second rd. We’re proud of you Michael, massive respect - and you’re just as class as him, and you’ll be around next yr for Rio.

Patrick E Conlon did terrific. It was a very close fight. I watched this live and people were making out that Ramirez dominated Conlon. He did not. Conlon was right in this. Ramirez was getting a lot of scores for blocked shots, and Conlon was not. The standing count that Conlon received was a joke. Barely anything landed.

Olympic committe ! You have managed to correct something pointed out by jeffperrez69, Pliz make corrections as well for me. The English man introduced "Cuban flyweight man boxer" as being Brazilian.check it out when the Cuban was fighting the Mongolian fly weight ( contesting gold). I think its a very bad impression to the young, yet to mature even for games to come Cuban. It was his first Olympic fight and he got called Brazilian boxer!

Ramirez is an excellent fighter, trounced great amateurs (ended Stevenson hype train). Styles make fights and he showed us their flaws for future analysis,
