@@TrizzyNGNR_ Does it say that message every time you power on your Twin when it’s connected to your MacBook? If you are using the same thunderbolt bolt cable when you connect to the mini then it probably is not the cable. Check to see what ports you have on your MacBook. TB2? TB3? Do you open Console before powering on your Twin?

@@SavIzzi I have a thunderbolt 2 on the MacBook… it doesn’t appear… when I click on the meter and control panel it says “UA device not connected” I’ve downloaded everything properly, I’ve took all the right steps

Hi Junior. Great question. No, my interface has actually worked better on m new M1 laptop. It connects right away when I power on my Twin and Logic recognizes it and uses it for I/O connectivity. No noticeable latency when I am tracking parts at all.

@@sharbel448 Hi there. If your Twin is USB and for Windows only it will not work on a Mac computer. You need a PC that runs Windows that is compatible with your Twin. Look up the specifications for your Twin on uaudio.com. Hope that helps.

Check if your Apollo Twin is for Mac only. The older Twin models had a separate specific Twin made for Windows. Which I believe was a USB connection.

Hi Nichola. The connection when I use mine is very good. I would try a different thunderbolt cable if you haven’t already. Also, is the firmware for the Twin and the UAD software up to date? If I find anything about this issue I will share it. Thanks and good luck!

I am not sure about gaming PCs specifically. The duo is Mac only so that would not work. I know there is an Apollo Twin that works for Windows. I would recommend going to universal audio’s website and reviewing the specs for the Apollo Twin X to see if it would work.

I would check the specs on your MacBook Air. Not sure if 2020 models would still have TB 2 connections or not.

Paolo is your interface an Apollo Twin Duo Core? Mine is an older Apollo Twin which connects via Thunderbolt 2 cable. So that is why I need the adapter. It is an Apple Thunderbolt 2 to Thunderbolt 3 adapter. If you have a newer Apollo Twin X then that is a TB 3 connection.
