Nice video. I use this exact setup for years with out issues, first with crome then with HTS. Solid package. I see some here are saying they have issue with the hulog well that is bad solder connection on ecu or backwards on plug or lastly drivers on computer. Always cut the j12 resistor and your good. I think its sad these are end of life. I have had mine for 13 years same battery in the emu!

Hey since moates is gone, and no one can get ostrich, demon, hulog.. and only can get(if your lucky) other expensive emulators. I have been thinking it would be good to highlight that there are still budget options out there for tuning B/D/F/H. We have replacements for ostrich, hulog, burn2, etc that can get people tuning on a budget.. Yes they are a little more work but its good to learn, since 99% of people have no use for an emulator as they don't even know how to tune, or even touch it after its tuned so then its just an expensive unused piece of hardware when a chip could take that same place. The moates ostrich 2.0 got discontinued recently(all bad), your probably one of the last ones to purchase a unit. Luckily i found one locally on fb marketplace. Ill be hitting u up with questions soon my boy. Keep up them solid videos!!

sorry if its noob question... since ur on a y8, couldnt you choose to go with a p2p (y8) basemap on the p28? why did you choose the z6 basemap?

Im having issues connecting the Hulog. Ostrich works fine but the hulog will not connect no matter what i try. When i try to connect it times out right after and cannot connect to ecu. Any know issue to why? Sometimes when it tries to connect gives me “j12/4 not disconnected”. I’ve already cut j12 and still no luck. Updated drivers and everything as well

Hi thanks it s normal if p28 start without eprom? And for me hs work with oestrich but not hulog And hulog witk with ectune 1.3 (from rtp cobra) but not oestrich... do you have last driver somewhere?
