Another interesting chat, my favourite topic is the worship of Nature spirits ! From early childhood I have had a love of everything in our natural world. I was collecting feathers, rocks and leaves when the others around me played with manufactured toys. I was making magickal faerie potions and cakes when the others were moving on telling me I was crazy. For myself, it was easy and felt right when I discovered my path. Beautiful ramble, thank you. I am really disconnected from Nature at the moment. It's been too long a winter, too bleak and too cold. Finally I am emerging, as far as the garden, but it's a start. I have been tending, and pruning, clearing and caring. My cherry tree needed some TLC, I've been clearing and making beds for new plans. It isn't much.. somewhere there are snowdrops.. I must go look for them, but for now, it's a welcome return to nature around me.

I am closeted. I've only been getting into crystals and tarot/oracle decks within the past year or so. So many people still look at the term/title of 'witch' as being so negative and I wish it weren't. I brought my children up in a Christian church for 20 years. I left December 2019 and held a lot of anger and resentment . I finally worked through it all and have opened my mind to what else is out there. When I was in the church, it was like having blinders on and if you had relationships with anyone other than other Christians, it was so looked down upon. That church was seemingly the 'only and RIGHT' church and all others were misled and going to hell. I still love the Lord, just not the people inside the church. When I was a teenager, I purchased my first tarot deck, but something scared me and I threw it away. What I wouldn't give to STILL have that deck. All this to ask, how do I truly live the way I want to (loving my crystals, tarot, oracle, spells, etc...) and not feel like a disappointment to my family and others who still have such a negative connotation to witches and witchcraft? Side note, thank you for suggesting @tarotstache in a different video. I'm LOVING Gerald's videos. His live yesterday was the first time I've ever truly felt seen and heard. Thank you for the beautiful video! I’m just starting my practice and I’ve been finding some of the witchy books a little challenging and (occasionally) a little dogmatic even. It’s so wonderful to hear that everyone’s path is different - such a supportive message to hear at this stage of my journey. I have always felt connected with nature and for me there is nothing better or more calming than sitting with the great spirits of the trees.

You're wisdom definitely helps me. 💜 I have a few trees around my house that I've known since I was very young, two big oaks and one smaller tree, and I always make sure to give them special attention. I also have made it a habit to say goodnight to the moon, the earth, and the flora and fauna around whenever I get the mail at night or take out the trash and recycling. I would love a video on deity work! I've wanted to for a while now, but it's difficult to figure it out. Especially when I still have to keep it subtle with my family around. I hope the ones who are interested have patience with me 😆.

I have a connection with Goddess Gaia, It's important to us all in many ways. I do talk to my garden to my local woodland nature reserve my garden animals birds spiders bugs, they are all there living their own ways appreciate that and we will appreciate life.
