Күн бұрынThe New York Times is back with another new daily word game, Connections! This is heavily inspired by "The Wall" from the BBC quiz show Only Connect. You must sort the sixteen given words into thematically appropriate groups of four--and you only have a few opportunities for error! I don't know if I'll be solving this every day but I'm giving it a shot for now at least. We'll see how it goes. Let me know how you like it!

AYE in Scots has two different pronunciations - and two very different meanings ( yes and always or forever).

Auras aren't used for divination (telling the future). They are supposed to represent a present state, so reading auras is a kind of diagnosis.

I solved in the same order. The purple category was easy, but it took me a while to sort out the rest. I also got stuck trying to find a way to make WOO WOO work. There were several words with multiple means and representing different parts of speech -- that made this one tricky.

Slight tricky, but I didn’t find it that hard. The large quantity of people has been used before.
