Hey everyone! Join me as I continue my journey through Young Sheldon Season 6 today!
For young Sheldon Cooper, it isn't easy growing up in East Texas. Being a once-in-a-generation mind capable of advanced mathematics and science isn't always helpful in a land where church and football are king. And while the vulnerable, gifted and somewhat naive Sheldon deals with the world, his very normal family must find a way to deal with him. His father, George, is struggling to find his way as a high school football coach and as father to a boy he doesn't understand. Sheldon's mother, Mary, fiercely protects and nurtures her son. For 12 years on "The Big Bang Theory," audiences came to know the iconic, eccentric and extraordinary Sheldon Cooper. In "Young Sheldon," audiences get a chance to meet him in childhood, as he embarks on his innocent, awkward and hopeful journey toward the man he will become. Jim Parsons, who plays the adult version of Sheldon on "The Big Bang Theory," narrates.

Unfortunately as we all expected, producer has confirmed the show will not have a happy ending due to Sheldon’s father passing away from a heart attack. But on the plus side it’s been reported that Jim Parsons and Mayim Bialik has reunited for the show and most likely they’ll actually return to their character one last time (like they’ll actually play the part not voiceover) and there were reports saying Leonard will also be appearing with them.

20:04 that is one of those moments that you just let it play out and try to smooth things over later. Any man with his wits about him knows better than to get in the middle of that while the heat is on. Getting involved at that moment is asking for trouble

I don’t blame Sheldon for telling on Missy. It’s as if she didn’t learn from when she stole George’s truck. Yes, she’s in a rebellious phase, but even still, you’d think she’d learn from the fact that her parents went even more “in” on her after that incident; why’d you continue doing stuff like this is beyond me. I like Georgie confronting Mandy about her attitude. I agree that despite how they are a good team for Cee-Cee, Mandy is still always rocking forwards and backwards with their relationship. But I can’t deny I love they finally engage and in response, Georgie pulls over just to kiss her. Once again, Mandy’s father being an amicable and respectable person and yet again, Mandy’s mother being a sarcastic, spiteful, ungrateful b*tch. Whose worse - Mandy’s mother or Leonard’s mother? This tornado and just the finale was a complete shock. Connie’s house getting destroyed, Missy’s breakdown, Georgie’s forgiving her, Connie’s gambling room getting exposed to Pastor Jeff… this finale was such a rollercoaster.

@@yudhazacharias9377That’s a very good point. She might’ve not known what to do, and they could’ve gotten seriously hurt. Hopefully being from Texas, she’d know to what to do.

Happy to hear that another spinoff is on the way surrounding Mandy and Georgie. I was disappointed that Missy's actress wasn't invited to join the cast, but I guess it depends on the plot.

Yeah maybe Mandy finds a job as a weather girl outside of Medford or something (though still east Texas I'd think, based on Georgie's future in BBT.) That would explain Missy and others not being in everyday life.

Season 6 finale was very emotional for me seeing meemaw lose her house was sad pastor Jeff redeeming himself mandy & georgie standing up against Mandy's mother Dale being more awesome sheldon & mary was being frustrating like always and wait till you get to season 7 it's gonna be good for you 👍 and as for missy like I was also worried for her didn't want her to do anything bad and I really related to her so much and I got emotional when she apologized to george Sr glad both him and her made up with each other ❤

MeMaw's house was the original Partridge Family house and the studio sold that lot and going to tear down that area so they did the tornado scene to justify why she had to move.

I have very much enjoyed watching Young Sheldon, each series has just gone from strength to strength. It's a shame that this is coming to an end but hopefully they will do a good job of concluding it. Unfortunately I don't know when series 7 is coming to the UK and so I'm going to have to delay watching your reactions to it. It has been fun watching along with you thus far, thank you.

Kinda hard to spend time with Missy when Missy doesn't want to spend time with ya. She's upset that Sheldon gets all the attention but bugs out when all the attention is on her, so there's no winning here. So if ya can't win either way, might as well do what feels good and yell.

What a ride , from episode 1 of TBBT to this point . Anyway I'm leaving you for now ...since i want to watch Season 7 by myself :) and i'm waiting for full release to binge-watch it . I will be back and i will rewatch it with you . I havent seen a single episode so now i'm just hoping that we will see Paige , Veronica , Tam once again , but also hoping that the grand finale is going to be epic.

It's interesting because Missy and Sheldon could make a great team. Missy is good at reading the psychological standing of others and that also requires some type of intelligence. Not the Academic one, an Empathetic one

While I do agree that Marry and George baby Sheldon and interact with him more than Missy, it still doesn't excuse Missy's actions. She has been making very stupid and dangerous mistakes repeatedly, and than has the attitude to complain as to why they trust Sheldon more than her. Both sides need to improve to have a better healthy relationship.

You ask "why don't they just....". Remember parenting styles back then did not take into consideration a lot of things that are presented to parents now. Without getting into the rights or wrongs of different parenting styles, some were not even thought of back then 🤷 this was still very much "kids listen, not dictate". I understand that you're looking for them to ask for the kids input, not dictation.... But gentle parenting wasn't much of an idea in society back then. Regardless on what your stance is towards it now, it wasn't even a blip on the radar then
