God in heaven please don't let him go to an American market the league wants to save. We'll be getting front page news on the NHL app every time he takes a dump. I lived through the hype train they laid out for Crosby and I don't ever want to deal with that again.

As an American, I dislike this comment as I want him on an American team. Although I’d be fine with anywhere as long as it isn’t Vancouver, Montreal, or Arizona. All 3 of them would probably hinder his scoring ability.

@WileECoyoteCBJ Not much of a fan of either team, but Columbus has a lot of young players, Johnson, Sillinger, I believe they have a top defensive prospect. So that would be a cool team to see him play in. Also I know someone who also likes Wiley Coyote a lot, haha

I don't understand why North American folks watch junior and "college level" sport and in some instances prefer it over pros. I understand its a chance to see a star of the future but hell where I'm from (England) our most popular sport is football and it would be hard pressed to find any under 18s or under 21s game especially internationally that gets a percentage of the views the fully fledged pros do.

The non-pros tend to play a bit harder as they are playing to get noticed by the teams and actually get paid. Although it’s not always that noticeable, players do play differently from one league to another

Great talent who has nobody to go against which is why he is scoring so easy. This scoring won't translate into the big boy league. Stats are over inflated as juniors are weak in talent and yes I said what I said. Get over yourselves hyping him up like you did the last 5 or 6 number 1 to 5 draft oicks who have all failed so far and that's being kind

At last,a realistic point of view. Over-hyping in hockey has unfortunately become standard. Bedard is good - very good, but if he's hyped too much at this level, it could take a toll on his NHL career, and possibly himself.

@@craigbradley974 he wont make it in the NHL plauying against little kiddies in leagues is NOT the same as playing with the big boys and the fans and YT channels and scouts dont get it and never will because they cant admit when they are wrong. sorry to tell people the cold hard truth but thats how it is. just like they think mcdavid and Leon D are the best int he league they sure aint, they give up the puck and cost goals for the team but the same amount as they score. good players yes great nope. oh n the wonder goals they score are against shockerly bad defensive teams and other players score the same tuypes of goals yet nobody speaks about them. weak as F biased reporting and views. my job is data and analytics for ice hockey and i see what others dont see.

@@craigbradley974 case in point they said wright was the next mcdavid, and when he wasnt drafted by a top 3 team or number 1 for tht matter lost his shit threw his toys out the pram and now look at him. he was drafted below 2 guys who had already played 2 years atleast in the adult leagues AND put up points and wrigth had points against little kids and weak goalies. over hyping a player is the last thing they needon there backs
