I drafted connor bedard the following off-season in nhl 23 for ps4 he was the most sought player in the draft my second off-season in my nhl 2023 franchise. It took him a couple of seasons to get going i played 6 seasons with the new york rangers in franchise mode. He was durable never injured the best season i had with him was 30 goals 43 assists for 73 points . I never won any cups made it to the conference finals once . I play on allstar level turning up the computer artificial intelligence sliders to the max so its pretty competitive. So many people complain about ea sports nhl but i only play on franchise it seems to have real future players that will be in the draft for maybe the first three years in you're franchise? I only have a playstation 4 the graphics are great!! There are frequent update patches giving us game updates the newest jerseys i have zero complaints with nhl 23

The Hawks have the top ranked prospect pool in the entire league. A great GM and a coach the players love. They stole Moore at 19 overall and somehow got Lardis is the 60s. Also have a couple great goalie prospects. Korchinski, Frank Nazar, Reichel.. the future is definitely bright in Chicago. Especially with Hall and Perry helping the young guys acclimate to the league. High end free agents that want to win a cup are going to be attracted to the hawks due to their young talent and cap situation. I look forward to seeing Bedard and the boys dominate the blues. Here's the thing he got so many draft picks and a lot of prospects from last years draft were gonna build a young team around bedard and have another dynasty just like last time. We had to get rid of all of out good players in order to do this bc for example kane and toews took up a third of the cap space. Now we got money to work with, young players, and a generational talent to build around.
