A lot has to happen right, to make it to the NHL. Out of the 20,000 kids I played with in my life, only 5 made it to the NHL and these were already JuniorB/JuniorA players which would smoke these kids. But at 15 years 0ld, he’s developed at 18/19 year old maturity with that puck and his decisions and how he sees the ice when he doesn’t have the puck. I’m hopeful power skating and USA select coaching will get his agility, speed and accuracy up. He’s a full package here just know, injuries happen, life happens, girlfriends leave you and all of those factors or just one of those factors, makes you lose your chance at the NHL or Draft. I was a victim of a shoulder injury I couldn’t recover from, my buddy was a victim of a girlfriend he loved for 4 years of his career. His emotions broke him and he was never the same player on the ice. You need isolation, family and detailed focus to make it. Talent alone, doesn’t get you there. Not ever. I played with Patrick Kane and no one expected a 5’6 forward then, to become what he is. It’s like a millionth percentage you can make it. But let’s hope for the best with this kid. Truly.

his shot aiming could use some work, and he definitely needs some better coaching on where to go when he has the puck, but he has very good skating and stick handling, and reacts creatively with the puck. He's going to be pretty good
