Hello Canada! I'm from Russia. You have very cool hockey players, and some of them are outstanding. Of the current players, of course, McDavid, Crosby, McKinnon. In Russia, of course, Kucherov, Malkin, Ovechkin, Vasilevsky, and Kaprizov are popular. I would really like to see Russia and Canada play with the current generation of young hockey players.

By far. He's lead the league in points 5 times. He's won league MVP 3 times. One of these was unanimous (really two). The players have selected him as the most outstanding player 4 times. He is 12th in career points among active players as a 27 year old. The youngest player above him on that list is 33 years old. He is a generational player. The number of players who compare to him all time can be listed on one hand.

No they trained together last summer and are friends. McDavid is friends with all the other stars. He trained with Matthews summer before last one

When McDavid was drafted I said that if he stays healthy he will finish 3rd on the All-Time Scoring list. However, I now think he could, if he stays healthy, be 2nd.

Overrated!?! I get where some people may be tired of the hype, especially non-Oilers fans, but "most overrated player to ever exist"? He is arguably the best player in the world right now! I am always amazed at the hate the great players get, for just being great. I saw it with Gretzky, Crosby and now McDavid. And many others. If he doesn't play for your team, then haters gonna hate, it seems.

@@jaatynytenkeli What does that have to do with his abilities as a hockey player? One great player does not get you a cup. Many great players have played their whole career without a cup. A Stanley Cup is a measure of a great team, not a great player. Just because you don't like the guy doesn't mean you can't acknowledge his skill. I detest Brad Marchand but I can admit he is a very skilled player. I won't continue this thread further so I don't get bashed for feeding the trolls.
