I stepped away from this stream and when I came back Connor had the body suit on and I legit thought he was absolutely shredded. I find out a couple of days later it was all a lie. My immersion was ruined.

As someone who sold medieval weapons and armor, they need to be kept oiled. It most likely had extra metal oil incase it took way to long and tended to dry out and rust. They actually should be oiled after every use as the oils in your skin can eat away at the metal. You can actually leave fingerprint on the metal, sell it, someone else buys it and uses it in a crime, you can be the first suspect because your fingerprint is etched into the metal. So always keep it oiled and wear gloves when handling.

The armor needs to be oiled properly (though not overly) so that it doesn't oxidize. If you wanna keep it kust apply a thin layer every once in a while.
