There's only one person that has made the laugh format work and that's a KZfaqr named Coney. He has his mods vet the clips beforehand so we only see banger after banger.

He's not the only streamer that ends up making money on these. A lot of them end up coming away net positive, because most people are terrible judges of what's funny enough to get someone to audibly laugh. I'm a person that laughs usually pretty easily at stuff, but I did a stream like this a few years ago with alcohol involved (which typically makes me laugh even more) and only one of the thirty-ish clips was actually successful at getting anything out of me. Turns out when there's money/punishments on the line, it becomes easier to steel yourself against cracking.

@@dylantomas1066 And then there's the people that submit the same clip every time and don't ever get a laugh out of it. If I see one more "Connor gets faux-outraged over Timmy Turner "Awesome, we're not British"" clip, I think I'll be done watching these from him. Someone submits it every time and he always has the same "what the fuck was that that can't be real" reaction, even though he's seen it like 5 times now.

The Brian Kelly "execution" clip is funnier without context. Basically back in the 70s or some shit a coach was asked after a loss what he thought of his team's execution and replied "I'm in favor of it". Kelly was trying to make a joke after a bad loss but flubbed it and just kind of looked dumb.

1:09 I work at a store that has those. If you accidentally drop it, which is really easy because the spring makes your hand shake when you hold it and it's heavy, it will make a rap song put of the sound of it hitting the floor with lasts like a minute. Sometimes a customer drops it and in the distance you just hear crashing sounds with music and then a soft "f*ck!"
