I was born in Denmark but learned Estonian on evening school. My learning was fairly limited, but when I moved to Estonia within 3 months speaking only Estonian I got so much training, that people could not separate me from a native Estonian - except for pronouncing certain words.

One day your Nara trip was recommended to me in the feed. Thinking to myself, who is this? What is her story? I don't think I have ever seen your recommendation before. So, I added it to the playlist, and when I finally viewed the video I was so impressed. I admired the natural tonal sounds you spoke, and immediately subscribed. Your influence is a much needed addition to my own path of learning other languages, and especially for my favorite, Japanese! It is a joy to me when people share their studies, the struggles, and the many paths to fluency. I do feel these videos help us all to connect with each other, and the sharing of helpful insights is always appreciated. Which does mean that I am truly grateful for your effort and work. You may find this interesting. I had a Japanese once informed me that Russians like to learn Japanese because they can naturally speak it. I tested it many times with Russian speaking individuals that had no understanding of the Japanese language, but an ability to read Roman (Latin) script. It was very spot on, and was so fascinating to hear. As with them, it also interesting to hear the Russian accent with your English, and also to hear your Russian. I don't think I can ever tire of the learning of languages and hearing them....

Best wishes as you learn English! Not that you are, but if you are, do not worry about your accent as your speak English. It goes away in time. Half my family speaks Russian, but you could never tell because of their English. Lots of practice :)
