So we are back with some more Conqueror's Blade as we get stuck into the new Season 6 unit the Armiger Lancers. An interesting cavalry unit as whilst it has the usual charge ability it also has a gallop which can act as both a second charge or as a get out card! The unit seems to be pretty short of defensive stats but somehow they seem to actually surive pretty well all things considered :-)

I'm glad the game has more good cavalry. I really like starting every siege to having T4-5 cavalry pour out the gates to consistently spawn kill me :)

After you charge you should use cover commander to return them to you. The regrouping calv moves quickly and does a lot more DMG than gallop on the way to anything in its path. After you do this you can also just X through the enemy again for a gallop charge, effectively getting 3 charges on a unit.

@@EvoLozGaming i want to say the same, but seems like ur way also work. Urs way focused on the unit survival rate, but cover comander do more dmg as the description said "cover the commander will in crease normal attack speed". However, i have tested the multiple game that if u return them straight by only using follow the commander, the horse will suddently run at random direction, obviously took great dmg from the enemy team in such a chaotic situation, as I think they immediately synchronised where the hero is facing and moving towards. As a conclusion, i prefer using ur way after charging into the crowd, but cover the commander for cleaning up and fighting solely hero along with them.

@@Smauel20120807 first use gallop cause has shorter cooldown so u can use it 2 times, then use double CC and charge the way back then use x send in again gallop then cover commander

I think that the cover commander order is great when you are static and dont moving around. In that way, the calavery will stay close to you and kill many enemy heroes without impacting obstacles

Fun fact: at max veterancy, the armigers heal approx. 29.5 health a second from the Undying Service passive without the double effect from the bottom tree.

Hi there! try using charge and then move then towards you either pressing C or X near you, then press 2 and 3, and repeat X, 2, X 2... they attack faster and move quicker.

Their cover commander is nothing like that of Cataphracts. Cataphracts ability is originally named "United Charge" just like that you can unlock on Dagger Axe Lancers, because it is just that: a united charge of your unit with you leading directly. But Armiger Lancer Cover Commander is an actual cover commander like of men-at-arms, prefecture guards etc

Hey Evo! Try to use the cover commander after or half way through your charge because the unit has really good attacks as they are heading back to you. I always use it to boost the damage :)

in the end its a very good upgrade from yeoman.... and the first purple cav unit that is worth it ... IF you want to bring a cav unit and dont want to pay t5 leadership prizes. Normal t4 cav are just throw in units .... like a 1 shot weapon, that you discard after use. .... but this unit is usable for a far long period of the battle. which makes em worth it.

Happy New year! I play glaive and have been watching some of your old vids. You mention whether or not the royal sentry set is better use for the glaive than the carnifex set. Have you figured that out yet? Also, what hero attire are you wearing? (It looks amazing).

Hey Evo i have tested them out a bit abd i would like you to try some things for the survivality of the cav: first after the charge use or cover commaabder or gallop so they do more dmg and take less damage and then the other one to retreat. Ik you do this but you should always use the abilities as fast as possible and never use x unless you do not have an ability (always use one to retreat) I am no pro and probably know less about them than you but try to test it out a bit since it works great to me but your enemies should be harder. PD: The cover commander does put them in a circle but if you use it from a long distsnce after a charge they tend to solidify a bit and then disperse once they come to you

Most cav is fine as pike consistently win against then. Hussars, well thats another stroy, as even fortebraccio is 50/50 which player has lags

ahh yes the latest addition to the cavalry plague. Nothing quite like playing a siege and there being more horses running up and down the streets than infantry. good thing they've added in such quality cavalry countering units like... well, maybe next season.

Which button do u have in ur settings to sprint because I don't know what button to use for sprint. Now the 4th button of the mouse (on the right) but it's a bit awkward. Also if u can in the intro of the next video show ur settings. Nice vids man👌

Thats understandable I think i've kind of just got used to it now so I just use my little finger to hover above shift almost all the time. Probobly just try running a few remaps in different spots to find the most comfortable :)

Yeoman are not bad, they are the tankiest calvalry that is purple. Until this upgraded version I think.

Hmm i'd argue that yeoman don't really have a place in most battlefields or at least they'd struggle, well at least compared to the armiger that feel so much more dominant!

I saw at the start of the video you have maxed your monastic knights to level 30 but your winged hussars are only level 14, why are your monastic knights maxed and hussars arent?

So you'd need to go to F5 then unit challenges and in the top left corner click the little icon and switch back to season 6 where you can start to do the unit challenges there :)

Nice man! Glad to hear you've managed to break the 60 level barrier which is great, it can be tough as a lower level but as you keep working through the unit tree and get your units levelled up you'll start being able to compete against the higher levels much better :)

Honestly a lot of it is just time to learn. You might be able to pick up some stuff from my other videos but still it takes time to learn the games and the mechanics. Other than that try to be critical of yourself, if you get yourself and your unit killed without killing many enemies ask yourself why, was it bad positioning? you tackled a to strong enemy unit? should have waited for allied backup? just messed up hero abilities etc

not really. You really just need spear units or ranged units and you can easily kill them even if they charge. Only tier 5 cav can do good usually so honestly your point has been debunked

@@Kublaioi the only spears that stop them are fortebraccios, stalwarts when braced and imp pikes when advancing. taking them down with ranged takes too long to setup. a well timed cavalry charge can only be stopped by other cavalry, or if you are lucky enough that your units are already facing the right way which barely happens when cavalry flanks.
