𝗠𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗶-𝗣𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗟𝗮𝗱𝗱𝗲𝗿
A stepladder, a staircase ladder, and an extension ladder walk into a bar. They’re the same ladder. Everyone applauds. Set up the Conquest AT in stepladder, extension, staircase and 90-degree configurations at the press of a button-all in one ladder.
𝗘𝗮𝘀𝘆 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻
Sweat on the job, not on the way. Integrated Tip & Glide™ wheels and a weight-balanced carrying handle makes transporting the Conquest AT simple and comfortable.
𝗡𝗼𝗻-𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗙𝗶𝗯𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀
The Conquest AT doesn’t conduct electricity, which is good because you do.
𝗟𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗢𝘂𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗴𝗲𝗿𝘀
They say it takes a lifetime to attain true balance, but these leveling outriggers set up in a few seconds. So maybe don’t believe everything they say. (On All-Terrain model only.)

I have owned one for years( different model) and I don’t like heights at all. Not scared just cautious. It is solid, stable, rattle free, and confidence producing even fully extended. It’s the only ladder I use at any height.

Mine arrived the other day,the A.T model,fantastic thing,but is all aluminum,and quite heavy. but love it! As it happened,it arrived as I was hanging up a large wall clock,struggling on a step ladder,so out of the box and straight to work! I can also reach my Velux windows to clean them,safely...so,...very happy bunny! Pricey...but so worth it,once you see the quality and workmanship in its construction.

When are you guys going to design the 'rapid locks' so you only have to twist one for them both to unlock, or will I have to design that myself? 🙄

I used the Conquest 2.0 in the fully extended mode and found that there is a lot of flex in the ladder when climbing onto the highest section. Looking down from the top, there was significant curve in the ladder. Is this normal? Maybe this flex can be presented in the video to learn about the ladder's characteristics?

The Conquest in the UK is only available in the All-Terrain style, but is available in either fiberglass, aluminum, or aluminum with the Safety Rails accessory. You can look at what is available from TB Davies: www.tbdavies.co.uk/products-category/multi-purpose-ladders/ or from ScrewFix www.screwfix.com/c/storage-ladders/combination-ladders/cat16640002?brand=little_giant

I just talked with our product team and the engineer, and the EN Conquest is a 2.0 version, it's just not called that. These were the differences from the US version: The EN Conquest uses the EN Standard for rung spacing, the EN Conquest comes with a pre-installed "tool tray top cap", and the EN Conquest comes in two aluminum versions besides the Fiberglass version.

@@semimba Do you remember the name of the ladder and what size you had? Was it a Model 17, 22, or 26? Fiberglass articulating ladders generally weigh a pound or two higher than their aluminum counterparts. That being said, if you want an aluminum articulating ladder that is lightweight, you may want to look at the Velocity 17 which only weighs 30 pounds. I appreciate the questions, let me know if you have any more.

It says the stabilisers are independent - why are the other feet off the ground? Or am I missing something?
@LittleGiantLadders
@LittleGiantLadders 9 ай бұрын
The outriggers are independent from each other, and typically used when the ladder is in the straight/extension position (not in the A-frame position). Since they're independent you can make sure the ladder is level instead of people digging out or, worse, using boards or bricks to make their ladder level. (this is handy any time you're working on uneven terrain, like a slope or hillside)

@@LittleGiantLadders has there ever been a case of a stabiliser failing? How are they attached to the body of the ladder? It looks to me like if one o those fails, you are in trouble.
@LittleGiantLadders
@LittleGiantLadders 9 ай бұрын
I haven't been made aware of any! The outriggers are part of a ladder that goes through the OSHA and ANSI testing that ensure it meets the Type IA 300 lbs requirement.

This ladder sucks. I've been using little giant ladders for years on jobsites. Yes, they're "heavier," but the versatility and functionality justify it. My little Giant Leveler was super stable and handy, getting to ductwork in hard to reach places daily. But after a sub contractor ran it over with a skylift, I needed a new one. Many jobsites are starting to discourage aluminum ladders, due to conductivity and safety, so I went with the fiberglass Conquest 2.0. In theory, it's a great design. And after watching all the videos, I was exited to order it, and super surprised and disappointed when I set it up in the A-frame configuration and climbed up. It's unstable. As in, it walks, and overly flexes, and tips easily. I have zero confidence in this ladder. Its a bummer. Im on ladders all day long. I push these ladders when people ask. But after this, I'll likely never buy another.. I called Little Giant the very next day. Their input was that I should buy another outside flared portion, because the skinny side was not as stable. So they suggested I spend another almost $300 dollars to fix the stability issue of a brand new ladder I just spent almost $600 on! Now I'm stuck with a very expensive ladder that their experts should have never let out the door to industry workers who need safe dependable equipment. Shit design. Live and learn

Was it the Conquest 2.0 or the Conquest All-Terrain? Either way, that doesn't sound right to me. And that someone from Little Giant would tell you that the skinnier side was not as stable... We test our ladders past the OSHA and ANSI standards, and it doesn't make sense that the ladder would walk on you. Do you know who you talked with and when this was?

@LittleGiantLadders The ladder came off the FedEx truck the week before last. It has been sitting up against my living room wall ever since, in hopes I can sell it. As I stated, it's the Conquest 2.0, 5 rung (m-22?) (non all-terrain) Model. I work for a big company who supply quality ladders for our trucks. The Little Giant ladders I carry are my personal, because I prefer their benefits. I've owned half a dozen little giant ladders over the years. I know their attributes. I've likely spent more time actually on these ladders than you have, unless you actually spend hours a day on them like I do. This ladder is different. Maybe it's just the fiberglass. IDK. It's lame, but I actually have to go through ladder safety courses once a year. When I tell you this latter walks, I mean it shifts and moves it's feet and walks if I move around, which, is what you do when you're working on a ladder. The lady in customer service, who put me on hold to speak to "an engineer," did not directly say that the non flared side made the ladder unstable. I deducted that from her advice for me to purchase a flared side to match the other side, which would make the ladder more stable. The ladder is smooth as hell, and looks great. And it's in perfect shape. It has no defects. It's just not a confidence inspiring ladder. That's all there is to it. I have nothing to gain by knocking your product. I'm just pissed that this much money went into a ladder I don't want to use. That's all..

@bubby8637 Little Giant has a lot of great products out there. Your mileage may vary. But now I understand why the only real "reviews" I could find on this ladder are mostly marketing type reviews rather than real world reviews by end users like myself.. Not a lot of sales on these, or not a lot of satisfied customers.. Hard to say. Maybe I'll do one..

I purchased this ladder and ordered and am happy with the ladder it self. However I purchased it also to be able to work with trestle brackets which I ordered from a dealer. Received a note stating the part I received was the new model, lLittle Giant decided to not produce the trestle brackets hurting customers like me the little guy! Not good relationships, for Conquest and Blackhorse the upgraded model your SOL!

I'm sorry to hear about the trestle bracket experience. The Dark Horse 2.0 (green one) and the Conquest 2.0 (Green one) aren't compatible with trestle brackets, unfortunately. I do hope that in the future we have an answer for customer's like you who would like their fiberglass multi-position ladder to be split into two trestles.
