Ive been insanely impressed with this series. 1 thing i wish you did was show us on a map all the routes and specific spots you shot some of these breathtaking scenes. My wife and I plan on going up there this september

Thank you very much for the support! I don't show exact locations in part of the TreadLightly principles as a way to help to keep these fragile areas in good condition for the many years to come. Unfortunately geo-tagging has ruined many places across the country due to neglect and dramatic increase visitation that the area simply cannot handle. I've always found that putting in a little research and finding these places for yourself makes the adventure all the more impactful when you come across them in person 😉

I really enjoyed watching you guys as always, but what really attracts me is you're both having good time together, getting along with each other and more importantly showing good behavior, even though you might encounter difficult situation throughout the trip

Thank you very much! After two weeks on the road we certainly found our rhythm and groove on the everyday tasks, even the non-fun ones like dishes after meals. Having the right attitude and mindset makes all the differences on these trips especially with the unfavorable weather but at the end of the day I wouldn't have changed it for anything.

An amazing trip for you, but especially for your Mum. She would not have done this on her own. Best to do with another person/vehicle anyway. Great family time. Awesome.

I agree with the previous comments. Michael you do well in leading the trip. Desire to explore, using common sense decisions when conditions and the environment change. Minimizing risk to yourselves, equipment, and any of those that would need to perform any rescues if anything were to go bad. Well done sir and I look forward to the next episode.

Thank you so much! It was an absolute blast visiting Alaska. There is so much to see up there that even if we couldn't make it down a particular road there were plenty of other options and destinations to point the trucks towards. Can't wait to get back up there!

When you come back to Alaska, try for Roosevelt Lake again. Where you turned around... the road there is a river all year long and very passable. I have a few videos on my channel that show it earlier this summer.

Thanks for the wonderful video! I'm curious: why did you take 2 separate vehicles when thee are only two of you?

Thanks for the support and watching! We took two vehicles to help spread out our gear, in case of emergency situations (vehicles getting stuck, etc.), but more importantly so mom could take on and overcome a new challenge of driving through the Alaska wilderness on her own 😉👍
