Believe it or not, it actually is. It was actually hauled in from the Illinois Railroad Museum for the event; it returned to its owners afterward. It wasn’t the only one to “visit”, as other locomotives were brought in from other railroads and museums. As for the second question, Amtrak is using a Nathan horn as their horn of choice, but it’s actually a 5 chime horn (the K5LA to be specific; the M-series appears to be discontinued).

The heritage units aren’t kept anyplace special. They roam the system. This was the same location that the 21 units were unveiled though.
