One of the reasons why the UK economy is so bad is foreign policy. Foreign policy gets a lot of attention and a lot of money is invested in it, but no leader pays attention to their Internal issues. It is a pity that the government always pays less attention to the position of working-class families. People who are living illegally in this country should be sent to their own country, not to Rwanda. With this election Brexit is not the issue. The most most important issues are economy, cost of living crisis, the state of NHS, and immigration. So Brexit is not important this time. What is economy? It is a fancy, abstract word people use but do not understand. "Economy" is basically trade. Money is an instrument of trade. We measure the economy with the Sterling Pound. "Cost of living crisis" is the cost or price to get food, clothing, housing, heating, ... The essentials things we need to live has a high price or cost too much. The state of NHS is poor because there is insufficient funding. In order to live people require healthcare then the NHS crisis is a cost of living crisis. The economy, cost of living, and state of NHS are directly related to trade. When the UK left the EU British businesses lost frictionless trade with the largest market in the world (EU single market). So Brexit hurt trade for the UK. Yet the British people do not view Brexit as the issue. The British people are concerned with the economy, cost of living crisis, and state of NHS. But Brexit is not important. Brexit is not a concern in 2024 election. Does that make any sense? The British people do not know what economy is, cost of living crisis is, and state of NHS is.
