I am going to say that when any other "review channel" makes little skits I skip past them and just want to see game play and compliments/complaints. This is the only channel where the skits make the content better and I always make sure to watch them. Thank you for sticking with it and continuing to provide us with laughs. And to everyone that stood with them and helped them through everything, you are helping to make the world a better place!

Sometimes I forget how awesome Console Wars is then I rewatch like 30 episodes to remind me. The quality and humor is still great thanks for the new episode.

Can I just say I appreciate the both of you? Not only are you looking at games that most people wouldn't think would have differences, but you're looking at games most people never even talked about. This is great for people like me who love to look into the dark reaches of classic gaming. Sometimes you can find a gem, Sometimes you can find a piece of crap. You are doing Super Back to the Future Part II on Super Famicom vs. Back to the Future Part III on Sega Genesis. Honestly, I do picture some arguments for that episode. I think this is likely going to be which is worst, it's been awhile for one of those episodes. I do see Sega winning for a lot of reasons. As for the actual episode you went up and beyond with the humor. You actually got me more into the video as it went on, I wasn't a fan of the show. I meant American Gladiators to clarify. 13:30 Much worse d-pad?! I love you guys, but hear me out. I grew up with NES and SNES, I like the SNES d-pad just fine, a little mushy, the NES d-pad is S Rank. But when I grew up, I got the Sega consoles and many controllers, and a 3-button Genesis pad of course. I have one with white paint motifs, not red, and it has a ball bearing under the d-pad, it never ever wears out or get mushy. It's snappy as the day I got it (used at that), it's a great d-pad. Not all 3 buttons have this ball bearing, I would look up serial numbers if you're interested in getting a controller with one under the d-pad, I'm sure they're dirt cheap.

Playing Sega's version was more fun. I just wish it had Gladiators' pictures.

I remember playing both NES and SNES versions of American Gladiators, and I think the NES version is actually better. Rather than trying to be realistic like the 16-bit versions, it just went for supersizing the events and making them more challenging. For instance, instead of going up a fixed path in The Wall, you had a complex path you had to carefully navigate. And if that wasn't enough, the entire configuration of the wall would change and grow LARGER each round, adding in segments where you climbed sideways and even areas with limited handholds, so simply mashing A and B would mean you'd likely fall. And if you thought one Gladiator chasing you was enough, try *TWO* at once! Unfortunately, there was no Master System version, that would've made a great 8-bit Console Wars episode!

About the Sega Genesis 6 button controller, check if you can move the character using “X, Y, Z, and Mode” I remember some games doing that which I assume it was done intentionally to add extra challenge as I seem to recall most of them were sports like games.

Sorry for that outburst I had (just playing with you, in case you didn't notice), but I rather prefer an American Gladiators game with ALL the events included. Leaving one event out is just plain weird. It's like "Double Dare" without no physical challenges, or "Nickelodeon GUTS" with no Aggro Crag. It don't make no sense. LOL

Someone somewhere probably already commented this, but you need to hold the mode button on the Genesis 6-button controller (when turning on the console) to use it on some 3-button games. Not really sure what the criteria is for a game to have this requirement, but I remember it being a thing for one of the Golden Axe games.
