Nice job. I have spent many hours picking through piles of sh#t stone and washing muddy rocks with numb hands in winter. But for some reason I do still find it very satisfying building with stone. 👍

Every time i watch your job i despise my job a little bit more! The foundation for the wall - how wide, how deep, what material please? When you look newbuild estates the boundaries are overlapping and look awful. You look at english countryside the boundaries my have a wiggle to them but they are defined. Your work could last hundreds of years and looks born there.

All these newbuild estates look horrible with fence boundaries and just all look tasteless and the same! Good thing about stonework is age makes it look better. The foundation was 600mm wide and around 200mm deep, we had to put a step in it too because of the slope. I could build these stone walls all day, very rewarding! (Apart from when I run low on good stone 🤣)
