Construction work of ECRL project has achieved more than 56% progress

The overall rate of progress of the East Coast Rail Link (ECRL) project has reached over 56 % as of November, said Transport Minister Anthony Loke.
He said the progress of the mega project is in line with the project's completion schedule from Kota Bharu, Kelantan to the Gombak Integrated Terminal in December 2026.
The ECRL is scheduled to be operational in January 2027.

Najib did the right thing by implementing GST. His move brought much needed revenue to Malaysia And more importantly GST reduced the dependence on Petronas money. And the timing is extraordinary

As for SRC, I wonder why the very person who deposited the money was not charged What happened to senior management of SRC.. Why are they not charged. The judge said " it was not your money to donate". But opposition had been going around implying Najib splurged on the rm42 million

Tolong tingkatkan kelajuan ia balik ke 350km/j, 160km/j akan jadi rail paling lambat di ASEAN. Kalau ia 350km/j saja akan ke Kelantan atau Terengganu utk makan tengah hari, jalan2 dan shopping selepas tu balik ke KL. Kalau 160km/j ia tak praktikal utk berbuat demikian. Bayangkan pelancong atau siapa2 yg datang dari China > Laos > Thailand (semua 350km/j > Malaysia terus slow 160km/j dan masuk Singapore slow je. Mungkin org Singapore akan terbang ke Hatyai selepas tu baru naik high speed rail terus naik. Dalam masa hadapan 350km/j dari Guangxi > Vietnam > Cambodia > Laos > Thailand semua 350km/j sampai je Malaysia jadi 160km/j...... "bertapa bangga kan kita rakyat Malaysia, ada train paling lanbat di ASEAN" Tun PM tu dan Menteri Pengangkutan masa tu buat silap, harap PM dan Menteri Pengangkutan sekarang boleh buat baik semula kesilapan mereka tuuuuu

@@nastechlegacy9997hSR lagi ramai yang akan guna sebab rel melalui negeri negeri di mana penduduk yang paling padat. Ramai orang Johor pi kerja kat Sgp. Dan yang nak balik kampung ke Penang, Perak, Selangor, NS, Melaka pun senang dan cepat. Kerajaan PN yang batal projek tu kurang akal.

HSR perhubungan ekonomi Malaysia & Sgpore..kalau dkt East Malaysia ni hnya issue yg melibatkn logistic je..thats why railway yg dibina tu boleh bawa barang2 sekali..kalau HSR technically tk boleh..sbb dia memerlukan special structure & cost akan jauh lebih mahal utk Per/KM ..takat nk pegi Kota Bharu dlm masa 4-5hr tu pun dah besar rahmat dah tempoh masa tu..

diorg pentingkan kargo juga sbb nk majukan ekonomi pantai timur. freight train kan perlahan, dlm 80kmh saja. kalau passenger train laju sampai 350kmh pun kena bwk slow juga sbb karang langgar pulak dgn freight trains. who knows maybe dlm 10 tahun akan dtg diorg akan bina hsr connecting all of the east coast
