When you can't use contacts because you are way too terrified to put your finger anywhere near your eye but you watch the video anyway because of their sense of humour alone

The sign at the beginning SENT ME! This was such a thorough review is so proud of you! Also another good tip: when you’re on the convention floor or anywhere BRING EYEDROPS AND YOUR CONTACT CASE AND CONTACT SOLUTION IN CASE THEY GET DRY AND ITCHY

Yes! Always a good idea to have contact-friendly eye drops with you, and a case if they get too uncomfortable!

when you held up the they/them sign i felt simultaneously joyous of "like me!!! :D" and "like me :pensive:" (bc i also use they/them, present femininely, and have people just ignore it)

If you can't get contacts, you can use a free app like PicsArt to change your eye color in photos :D

Yeah， the first time I wear contacts I was scard of. But when I wear them on, it's cool on my eyes. Maybe you can have a try lol

Lenses definitely take getting used to! Everyone has different comfort levels- lenses can be fun, but if they're too scary for you, thats okay!

That's totally fair! When I don't feel like putting in contacts, I use photoshop to change my eye color :D or you can just cosplay with your natural color!

Thank you! I brush them with a wide tooth comb and use argan oil spray- I'm working on a video all about wigs soon!

I wore contacts for a short amount of time. My eyes were not really the right shape for contacts to correct my eyesight completely, but my optometrist let me try them as I was on the edge of the cutoff. 😥My close vision was great, but I did go back to glasses when I realized that my subpar distance-sight bothered me. BUT, while I had contacts I wore aquamarine colored, because, why not!? I miss my jewel-colored eyes, but I can't justify the cost of plain/non-prescription contacts.

Like I think when I'm older and doing cosplays I would want to have contacts but they are so scary at the same time!! I don't need contacts or glasses. My eyes are relatively fine, except that one is a little "lazy"

I've been cosplaying for years and these are my first cosplay contacts! You definitely don't need them to cosplay, but they can be fun :D

I want to try cosplay contacts but I'm just so scared of something going wrong with them aaaa, Makes me feel a bit invalid, especially if I want to eventually be a part of a cosplay contest or something. Like, the judges or others won't see me as being "good enough" Its silly since no one should sacrifice their comfort for the sake of cosplay but the pressure SUCKS.

I totally understand your fear! It can be really intimidating to start cosplay when there's so many people out there with amazing skills. But most people in the community are super supportive- after all, we're just nerds playing dress up! I'm releasing a video later this week about one of the biggest, dumbest mistakes I've made with cosplay. I hope it'll make you laugh and feel less anxious!

Do not get contacts until your eye doctor opens up. Do not get them until you know it’s safe to use them. Your eye Cheerios are more important that cosplay accuracy

When I don't have contacts, I use photoshop to change my eye color! My favorite app is Adobe Photoshop Fix, it's free and simple to use on your phone :) Contacts are fun, but your health is more important!

Not at all, they're actually super comfortable! Like I say in the video, my eyes are sensitive. When I wear my normal contacts from my doctor, they're uncomfortable for most of the day. With the TTDEye lenses, I actually couldn't even feel them... it was magical
