By the way (if you don't know) when the original digidestined characters got 7 movies after the 02 series years later to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the franchise, Toei Animation recently made a movie for the 02 children. I never got to see the 02 movie last year cause of work and stuff I was going through, but I heard it was a good show to conclude the biggest major plots of the series to finish off the ending scene of the 02 tv series.

if you want to continue the digimon reactions I recommend you to end the adventure continuity first, every series post 02 takes place in a new continuity with no connection to previous seasons, but from 2015 and onwards Toei decided to do Adventure sequels, if you want to continue their story first (adventure and 02), there's Digimon Adventure Tri, and Digimon Adventure Last Evolution Kizuna (a movie) that Billiam also covered. There's also a new Digimon Adventure 02 movie in that continuity that got to theaters outside japan just last november and it's getting a blu ray release on june, hopefully Billian will cover that one too.
